2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Got duped into thinking this was a BSA -- wrote in my notes "part sour ale". Not a fan of any beer that’s sour. The bitterness didn’t help either.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Gold color with a very fizzy white head. Light nose. I do not get much Brett out of here, which is good for me. Very effervescent. Some orange peel and lemon, some spice and yeast. Better than I expected.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750 ml bottle from 2010 or 2011. Aroma is fairly Brett forward with quite a bit of pineapple and tropical fruit. Some light graininess and a hint of citrus. Pear and honey also present. Some pepper phenolics as it warms with a hint of alcohol as well. Pours a moderately clear golden orange with a huge pillowy white head that has above average head retention. Moderately high lacing but not really any legs. Flavor has a hint of sweetness. Moderate honey notes and lighter graininess. Medium tropical fruit and pineapple along with moderate overripe pear. Lighter citrus and red apple notes. Medium light bitterness with a hint of alcohol spice. Some medium light tannins. Moderate pepper phenolic notes with some light coriander notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and medium alcohol warmth. Overall a decent beer, with a nice Brett character. Some nice yeast character with just some faint hints of the malt notes. Not a gusher, but it slowly foams out the bottle.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750 ml bottle shared with the group. Pours a slightly hazy bright golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma has a good amount of Brett, wood, some sweet / sour citrus, yeast with some additional fruit character. The flavor is more of the same with a dry mouth feel and medium body.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from big bottle into Chimay chalice.
Clear gold with large head and lace.
Aroma of fresh bread, slight citrus zest, sweet malts, nuts.
Significant carbonation and mouthfeel.
Flavors of light malts, funky fruit rind and bitter roots on the base of a tasty belgian golden ale or tripel. The balance is there between a wonderful Belgian and some barnyard funkiness, adding challenge and intrigue! Overall tasty and different.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Poured a cloudy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy sour yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sour bitter flavor with a medium to heavy sour finish of moderate duration. This is a solid beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
750ml bottle, thanks to alexsdad06 for sharing. Hazy, vibrant golden color. Nice, kind of foamy off-white head. Loose row of lace. Nice, light citrusy-bretty aroma. Good light citrus hops. Medium body. Good, smooth, soft lighter carbonation. Light hint of spice. Nice, kind of zesty, moderate sweet taste, good citrus-peel. Nice belgian golden ale. Brett is not over the top, provides a nice balance.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
750 ml bottle to snifter (shared by alexsdad06). Looks good; a cloudy orange with ample off-white head that steadily dissipates. Into lacing. Smells solid; yeasty, bretty, and lightly hoppy. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is basically a tripel with a tad bit sour but not much. The beeer is super super heady. A decent beer but not incredible, I t has a slightly above average tingle to thie finish. The brett is subdued enought but the wildness in this beer is of the fruity variety and it leaves a bit of orange in the aftertaste. not quite what I was hoping for.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A golden color with a white head. Aroma contains some citrus, yeast, bready notes. Flavor is bit sour with some spices going on. Bready notes too. This is a nice beer more in the saison realm.
