On tap at cajun cafe in st. pete. Murky yellow pour. Lemony and floral aroma. Crisp citrus hop taste with yeasty vibe. Quick review from phone - but tasty overall.

Bottle. Pours golden with a big white head. Flavor is a great balance of dry and sweetness, with apple, citrus, banana notes. Really fantastic Belgian IPA.

750ml. Pours a light gold with a foamy white head. Nose is huge hops with alot of grapefruit and some banana. The yeast complements the hop aroma nicely. Flavor is high on hop flavor which is terrific. Orange, banana, light spice, tangerine and a modest bitter finish make this a real winner for me. Outstanding belgian ipa.

Bottle… Clear amber ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Good retention. Earthy, fruity, woody nose with a rumor of lactic acid. Medium to full-bodied with tingly carbonation. Bittersweet flavor – more sweet than bitter. The relatively high ABV is not revealed. Gentle bitterness lingers in the finish.

UPDATED: OCT 19, 2012 In short: A sweet IPA with a half-belgian half-american character. Good brew.
How: Bottle 750ml, consumed moderately fresh a few months after purchase
The look: Cloudy dark blonde body topped by a medium white head
In long: The hoppy nose is pleasant with notes of tropical fruits and grass. Neutral bready malts with a sugary honey sweetness. Clean and crisp. Did not feel very yeasty, I’ve had American IPAs that felt more yeasty than this Belgian IPA. Hops are herbal and grassy with fruity notes of citrus and grapefruits. Low-medium bitterness and low-medium dryness. Overall rather smooth, nothing aggressive here. Personally I would have preferred a little dryer and with a more assertive bitterness. I thought the hop profile combined beglian style grassy noble hops signature and American style hops signature. This is an IPA with a twist. Quite sessionable fro a 8.5% beer. At least this is a mischief that can get me lying on the street face on the ground because I’m drunk. Not because some cops are ordering me to. Or maybe both.

Bottle at East End ’09 Gratitude Release. From my abbreviated notes on my Droid : Pours a cloudy straw color, white head. Aroma is malt, hops and spice, flavor is the same profile. Slightly bitter finish.

On tap @ Binny’s Taproom. Aroma is floral, citrus, pineapple, and a little bit of Belgian yeast. Spicy yeast taste with sharp bitter hops and a floral/citrusfinish. Mouthfeelis juciey and creamy, medium bodied and moderately carbonated.

Big, citrusy hop character dukes it out with the Belgian yeast in the aroma. Crisp and fairly dry. The Bruery puts out yet another winner.

This beer is underrated. Pours a hazy golden body with a white head. Fruity citrus and tangerine notes, light hazy pine and floral hop tones. Yeasty dry and herbal with a bread y floral citrus hoppiness. The herbal and floral green hop tones settle the citrus and tangerine notes very nicely. Delicious.
