Not quite evil, but still a good beer. Pours a hazy gold. Lemon and other citrus hops in the aroma, sugar, and some pepper. Good flavor, slightly sweet. Good beer.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: OCT 29, 2011 HUGE, bright white head of dense and foamy bubbles. Light carbonation. Light fruity aroma with some peaches, spices and light fruit. Color is a hazy golden orange. Hmmm. Big hops presence and flavor. Lots of herbal notes, lemon, hops and a hint of alcohol. Kind of dry but pretty smooth. Finishes dry and slightly pasty. A pretty good and light belgian strong ale with a lot of hops character.

750 ml bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a nice medium whitish head that leaves sticky lace. The aroma is herbal and citrus hops, spices, grassy, with moderate amounts of caramel. The flavor has a spiciness that grabs your attention. Light citrus, white pepper, grassy, yeast and a balanced maltiness all work together to create another interesting beer from The Bruery. Nicely crisp and hoppy.

Lightly hazy golden in color with a small head. Aroma of light banana and citrus, with some notes of fruit and spice. Taste: Somewhat estery with light banana and/or bubblegum, as well as citrus and spice. Light to medium bodied. Overall easy drinking.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
bottle poured a golden in color with a big fluffy white head that lasted forever. aroma does have nice west coast hops, lemon, mild belgian yeast, candi sugar, and some grass. mouth feel is crisp but coats well and gives a nice fullness. flavor gets some mild bitterness going, nice belgian yeast profile, mild resins, some spice, lemon, and finishes with some bite. it has a belgian thing at the core but there is no mistaking the dose of hops that blasts this out with west coast goodness. the combination works well in this beer.

Golden pour, nice white head. Aroma is loaded with some nice herbal hops, spices, wheat, caramel and light lemony notes. Flavor is very crisp and has a nice balance between the yeast/spice, hops and malt. Well done.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
750 ML Bottle-Golden Pour w/a moderate white head. Floral hop aroma. Has a pretty good floral hop bite to it w/some overtones of pine. Follows up w/some Belgian sweetness & candied sugar. This has a little more hop to it than I prefer in a Belgian, but it was still a pretty good brew. Long, dry finish.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Wow, this is one of the first American brews that comes so close to a Belgian as to be virtually indistinguishable. Poured with a nice off white foamy frothy thick head and good lacing. Color is a lightly hazy amber. Aroma is great - spicy malty floral a bit of yeast. Flavor is similar Fairly dry but still a bit of sweetness, especially in the finish. Excellent body and carbonation as it fits the beer perfectly. Very easy drinking beer. Session.
