3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled from a 750 ml brown bottle this beer poured a yellow-golden color with a large foamy white head that lingered and left minimal lacing. The aroma was dry with crisp floral hops and light notes of must and perfume. The flavor was dry, tart, sour, lemony and peppery with a light musty undertone. The finish was medium length and dry with a bit of fruity hops. Medium body. Decent.

Pour is a hazy golden color with a decent sized white head. Nose is of citrus, Belgian yeast. Taste is indicative of the style with some extra hops at the back end.

Bottle served in a tulip. Pours hazy yellow-orange in color with and xl white head. Good retention, decent lacing. Aroma of lemon citrus hops, belgian yeast, spice, and pepper. Light sweet, dry-bitter-funky flavor. Very Belgo IPA. Medium-light body, fizzy carbonation, sticky texture, and long, hot, hoppy, dry, yeast-funk finish. Would like to taste side-by-side with Duvel and Orval... and a couple of American Belgo IPAs.

UPDATED: JAN 24, 2012 Bottle from a trade. Nice pour of golden ale with a huge white head. Aromas is of hops and grass, with some fruitiness. The taste is straight up golden ale with a nice hop bite. Just what you would expect, reminds me of Duvel. Palate is light bodied and effervescent carbonation. A little too much carbonation for me. Overall true to style with a nice balance. Not bad.

750ml bottle shared by MartinT.
Appearance : Almost clear yellow pour with a bog foamy white head. Extensive lacing.
Aroma : Nice spices with citrusy hops and yeasty phenols. Crisp and fresh. Nice spices. Light alcohol.
Taste : Nice yeast and spices, citrusy and spicy hops. Yeasty fnish with notes of spices. Light alcohol too. Nice soft carbonation.
Overall : Nice surprise here. Quite drinkable and refreshing. Would have been even better without the alcohol presence. It fell like a nice refreshing and crisp beer with too much alcohol. Nice fruits and yeast. Good stuff overall.

Notes of grapefruit. Golden color, with a nice foam when poured into a glass. The hops work will with this mildly tart Belgium style beer. It went well with pizza. I would definitely recommend this beer to anyone who enjoys IPAs or Belgium style beers
