Belgian-style ale, golden and hoppy. Not quite evil, yet not to be trusted, this Golden Ale is effervescent, dry, hoppy and crisp-you’ll want to keep an eye out. (ABV: 8.5%, IBU: 35, SRM: 4, Format: 750 mL bottles and draft)

Pours a lacing beige head with a golden body. Aromas are grassy, yeasty, and zesty. Flavors are yeast, banana, hint of clove, lemon, grassy. Easy and clean drinking. Some spicy dryness on the finish.

my first Bruery rating! last bottle of this at my local shop so I grabbed her. 750 Ml bottle. Pours a golden yellow with a fluffy pure white head 4 fingers strong. That lasts all the way through. Lots o carbonation as well. The smell starts a bit piney with some Belgium yeast in there. As the drink went down I sensed some fruit like fresh cut pineapple. A little booze and spice note on top when first sniffed however. Taste is a dry slight bitter but ends in some lime and pine with grass. A good first experience with Bruery

Bottle pours golden color with huge frothy white head. Aroma sour light fruits. Taste fairly straightforward Belgian ale with malts, light fruits, spices. Pine and grapefruit hops on the finish, really quite brief. Palate thick and a bit oily. Mild alcohol apparent. I am not a big fan of Belgian styles with a lot of hops but this seemed to work pretty well.

Hazy orange color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, grass, spices, vanilla, and toast. Taste of citrus, grass, light pine, vanilla, and a dry finish.

from erzbierschof.ch - pours a cloudy orange beer with a persistent white foam and a nice lacework; estery aroma with notes of cream, peaches, apples and hints of spices; oily and quite thick, some sweetness below but a robust tart bitterness in the front, rather high carbonation, quite dry estery and spicy fruity hoppy finish - a beautiful beer

750 ml bottle received from my buddy joetheyounger a year ago. Pours a clear-ish golden amber hue with two fingers of white foam. Aroma of tropical fruit (pineapple, mango) as well as more temperate fruit (pear, lemon, and other citrus), sweet malts, floral hop notes, some Belgian yeast, some booze, and hints of spice (saison-style as well as spicy hops). Flavor of sweet malts, light caramel, and some sticky hop notes (citrus and spice). Unfortunately, there is noticeable alcohol in the flavor which is distracting and a little surprising since this is not too high an ABV level. Semi-dry and lightly sweet finish. Not a bad Belgian strong but the alcohol take away somewhat. (305, 486)

Pours light yellow/golden in appearance with a large foamy white head. The aroma is fairly tame for a imperial ipa with notes of floral hops, yeasty spice, and some slight sweetness. Flavor is spicy and hoppy with a thick somewhat awkward texture with huge carbonation. Tiny bit of light fruits and sweetness but mostly overpowered by the hops.

On Tap at Vine Street Pub, Denver 17/09/2010 Hoppy aroma. Clear golden coloured hoppy fruity and a little sour flavoured with a hint of dryness in a yeasty lasting malt finish.

Reviewed from notes. Pours a nice light golden color with a several-finger head and a good amount of lacing on the way down. The nose isn’t terribly overwhelming, bringing some light citrus and floral hops. A bit of spice as well. The taste consists of light floral and citrus hops. In addition, I get a bit of spice and light pear notes underneath. The mouthfeel is light to medium with a nice spicing to it. Drinks quite well overall and is fairly unique.
