COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belgian-style ale, golden and hoppy. Not quite evil, yet not to be trusted, this Golden Ale is effervescent, dry, hoppy and crisp-you’ll want to keep an eye out. (ABV: 8.5%, IBU: 35, SRM: 4, Format: 750 mL bottles and draft)

Golden, nice persistent head and lace. Floral, citrus, grapefruit, nose. Sweet and fruity up front, boozy towards the finish, tingly lingering finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Shared bottle at Cardinal. Pours clear weak golden with no head at all. Weak farmhouse aroma. Taste is light sweet, some wood and oak, moderate bitter finish. Nice.

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 23.03.15. Slightly cloudy. Not much head. Moderate and slightly fruity aroma. A bit bland taste, with hints of apples and pears. Low carbonation.

Clear golden pour with a tall, chunky off white head. Aroma is floral, spicy and citrus hops, stone fruit esters, a little peppery spice, cereal, some wet limestone minerality and a hint of banana. Flavor is sweet cereal, stone fruit, spicy and citrus hops, pepper, medium breadiness, hay, bitter citrus, grass, and light licorice as it warms. Medium body, crisp and dry throughout with a medium, sharp, blanketing carbonation and a moderate acidity.

Pours a clean glowing yellow color. Aroma of golden hops, and sweet corn. Taste is crisp and dry, relatively zero aftertaste. Easily drank, great hidden alcohol content. Surprising clean and simple complexity for the style but overall another good product from The Bruery.

Pours an orange-brown with a white head, very cloudy. Medium body. Very yeasty and bready, a light taste of hops and a dry finish. I wish the dry finish was not there though, slightly off putting.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Tom L. Cloudy golden with a white head. Fruity, yeasty and spicy aroma with some hops. Flavor has some sweetness, fruitiness, spicy yeast, mild bitterness and a bit of alcohol. Medium-bodied. Alright.
