750ml bottle. Pours a hazy warm golden with a classic fine lively Belgian effervescence and a thick white foamy head. Big hops with lemon aroma. Lively, bubbly body carries a bright, sharp-edged bitter initial flavor, balanced with salt. Overall a less heavy, less bready beer than many Belgians. Very likeable.

April 16, 2014 - tap at Hollander. Clear golden pour with limited head. Aroma and taste were fruity, spicy and hoppy. Slightly bitter and dry finish.

Bottle at the Beer Temple, Amsterdam Open Bottle evening, April 2014. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin white head. The aroma is yeast, zesty citrus. The flavour is neutral veg wheat light bitter sour with a citrus grapefruit zesty spice pepper palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle pour. Golden. A lot of lemon aroma with a little spice. A citrus bite with a mellowing, slightly bitter finish. A lot of flavor and spice. Really good.

Still cloudy golden, bubbly ringed head. Eggy lemon, oily nose. Nice peppery scuttle of more lemon, tinny hop and thin almost witbeir creaminess. Impressive masking of the ABV, tang citrus on the finish and soft carbonation.

A nice American take on a Belgian ale. Medium hop level which blends well with the dry Belgian flavors and adds a new dimension. Strong yet refreshing. Brewers should try this more often.

From a bottle. A nice golden pour. Bottle was over carbonated. Good Belgian flavor, but a bitter and lingering aftertaste. A good but not great beer.
