After brewing one of our fruited sour ales, we found ourselves with a few too many leftover apricots in the fridge. Rather than starting a smoothie company, we decided to create this unique take on the popular Belgian-style golden ale. The addition of apricots strikes a lovely balance with our fruity house yeast, yielding a delightfully mishmishchieveous ale. Effervescent, delightfully fruity, yet surprisingly dry, this is a great beer for the upcoming, warm, Summer months.

Bottle @ Pre-Borefts Tasting, courtesy of the European Crew! Pours a hazy golden beer with a big white head on top. Aroma of white fruits, slightly vineous, some apricots and other tropical fruits. Flavor is sweet, fruity and has a light tarty aftertaste. Not really boring, just a bit uninteresting, but certainly enjoyable.

Heller, viel zu stark karbonisierter Antrunk. Die genutzten Aprikosen sind schmeckbar, wirken aber muffig. Nja. 10/11/7/8//8

Bottle @ Every Bruery Beer Tasting. Hyper carbonated hazed orange pour with white foam. A lot of apricot jelly and orange zest aromas. Some caramel, candy sugar, and lemon peel. A bit metallic and seltzery. The intense carbonation kind of makes this feel really acidic and kills the flavor. Sort of on the sweet and jammy side, though. Mild lemon zest and some simple syrup. Not as good as I was hoping. Kind of metallic.
