LOVE how they call it hoarders society in the description . these things can get way to expensive ! Thanks to Bobochamp for giving this at a friendly price ! Pours very black , dark brown . no foam . smell is mocha , as well as the taste . in the aftertaste you get some bourbon and oak , but this is damn much mocha based, as to be expected from the name . A bit like cold coffee, which I hate, but the best cold coffee beer i’ve ever had , In the series of Black tuesday my least favorite though ...

Bottle shared at Dunt’s Tasting (Chicago, IL). Pours a rich blackish opaque hue, dark with good darkness, gentle brownish glow on the edges. Frothy tannish head dies to a decent ring, laces ok. Aromas are rich dark chocolate, mocha and coffee. Roasty and earthy, touches of barrel, nib and oak. Some firm rich mocha flavors really jump. Initial is a bit coffee, cocoa and caramel. Decent to mellow barrel hits vanilla, oak, genrle spirit. Depleted caramel, toffee and toast. Rich firm coffee, rich roast and cold coffee, caramel and vanilla, some sweetness. A touch thinner body (still firm and bigger) backend is roasty and coffee driven, mocha, cold richer mocha, dark choclate, sweet caramel. Finish is a bit toast), nutty and earthy with coffee roast. Rich and luscious, a faint dark fruit jab from the base Black Tuesday feel. Nice stuff. The sweetness dies out a bit. Really qualified stout with rich coffee presence.

Boozy, coffee-y, chocolate-y, yummy! This is the best in the weekly series in my honest opinion. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared by Mayur - thanks!! Pours opaque mahogany with a small brown head that dissipates fairly quickly and leaves some lacing on the glass. Aroma is in your face bourbon, if you stick it out you do get cocoa, coffee, vanilla notes as well. Flavor is quite sweet (surprise, I know), light bitter, coffee and cocoa plus bourbon. Medium body, somewhat creamy, hella hot, but not out of line with an almost 20% beer I suppose. Glad I got to try it!

Very excited to try this beer. Dark brown to black pour with a tan head. The aroma has some huge coffee and chocolate notes, as expected. The flavor is more of the same at first. In addition to the chocolate and coffee I get some big bourbon and oak notes, which meld very well with the base imperial stout. While the alcohol is certainly noticeable, it is hidden more than you would expect in a beer that is more than 19 percent ABV. Thick mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Excellent.

Huge thanks to Matt. This stuff is amazing. Bottle to snifter. Coffee and chocolate and bourbon. Taste is coffee and chocolate and bourbon. Perfect mix. Thick. Creamy. Amazing. Fuck.

Yes, this tastes like a really, really rich glass of cafe mocha. If you were wondering. The flavors are on point but as usual it’s a bit too sweet and hard to drink for this to be anywhere near a top-shelf BA stout.

750, capped. Thanks J! Pours a murky jet black with a creamy burnt tan head. Huge sweet nose, alcohol fumes, dense cocoa, super sweet. Thick sticky body. Your lips stick together after a couple sips. Dense dark cocoa, semi sweet baking chocolate, thick roasty malts on the mid palate. Long sweet finish.

Tasted at a bottle share in a hotel room after the most recent Jackie-O’s bottle release. Chocolate Rain and Mocha Wednesday in one night, not bad... Looks unimpressive again, no head or lace, but what are ya gonna do? Near-black color. Lots of sweetness, and milk chocolate in the nose. Then a very nice amount of coffee. Cookie dough. Taste has a light to moderate alcohol burn, big sweetness, mild bitterness. Bigger body. Good chewiness. Smooth, soft, lighter carbonation. Dry finish. Pretty damn nice. A lot of sweetness though. Bit of licorice. Too much sugar for me. Doesn’t hide alcohol nearly as well as, say, Uncle Jacob’s does... So much malty sweetness. Love the mocha flavor that is there, but the big malty sweetness is not well-balanced and impossible to ignore. Not as mystical of a flavor as the label suggests.

Bottle, thanks to Mac, tasted on 01/31/2014. Pours black, small white head fades to a few wisps on the surface. Aroma is fresh ground coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla waffles, bourbon edge. Taste is intense espresso, dark roast, vanilla wafer, booze, heavy bourbon in the aftertaste. Thick body, smooth, boozy but not over the top. Delicious, reminiscent of Mornin Delight for me, though obviously much heavier.
