Orchard White is our Belgian-style witbier. We brew it with unmalted flaked wheat, oats, malted barley, corriander, orange peel, and lavender. This is a thirst-quenching beer that will be a year-round offering.

My first offering from these folks. Bottle. Aroma of orange peel, pepper and lavender hint of wheatiness. Poured a yellowish hazen gold foamy white head. Flavor was interestingly spicy and flowery with a citric twist, lemony. Palate I liked, very full for such a light colored brew. Clean finishing just a touch of spices. Overall, I liked it, still kinda intrigued by it all.

750ml in Hoegaarden tumbler. Pale cloudy orange with lasting white noisy head. Sweet vanilla orange and yeasty coriander aroma with slight funk. Sweet vanilla and orange melon fruitiness with mild yeasty grassy spice and slightly fizzy harsh finish. Nice and refreshing on the first nice day of the year here in NY. Very tasty, texture is slightly off. A little cloying. Slightly overspiced. Still, pretty good.

Cold 750ml bottle: Pours a cloudy lemon yellow color with a large, frothy, alabaster head that dissolves. Aroma is of light grains, light spice, hay, and lemon/citrus notes. Taste is of light grains blended with light spice notes into an ending of mild, grassy hops, followed by some lemon/citrus notes. Light bodied and lightly crisp with sharp carbonation.
