Draft at the brewery. Light yellow, much haziness. Decent head. Wheat aromas and flavors. Some spice on the finish. Pretty good stuff.

Tap at RnH. Pale cloudy pour with no head at all. Black olive and grains show up in the aroma. Wheaty and oatmeal flavor, with an extract and grainy finish. Dry but not brett dry, it doesn’t have that farmhouse bite to it. Good beer, but with what these guys are capable of I expected a little more.

Tap at Rattle N Hum. Deep yellow beer with a thin white head. Aroma is loaded with rich lemon peel and sweet lavender character. Lots of rich but light spiciness as well. the yeast is very expressive with a strongly spicy wheatiness. Soft and floral with a very fresh lavender and minty aroma. Flavour shows more of the typical lemon/coriander than the aroma does, but the mix of lavender and wit yeast still works very well. It’s very similar on the aroma side to the imperial Orchard but it has a fuller and richer body. Man, this stuff is delicious.

Tasted this at Rattle N Hum in NYC. Draft. Very interesting Wit... strong lavender and pepper taste, unique to other witbiers. Pours usually cloudy yellow/orange. Somewhat frothy. Tasted strong for the style- really pushes its limits, but really excellent.

Pours lightly hazy, with an effervescent body, and a foamy, moderately sustained head - lightly wheaty aroma, with some belgian yeast phenols, citrus peel, wildflowers, honey, fairly strong coriander - the carbonation is tingly and full in the mouth - the flavor is quite dry, with a moderate yeastiness - the oats add a lightly creamy texture, and give the beer a little more body, both of which compliment the yeast flavors - dusty and lightly peppery - the lavender comes on strong through the middle, as does a bit of tartness - a nice spicy bite at the end - some lemongrass character - subdued and refreshing - I prefer the imperial version, but this is nice.

750ml Bottle: Aroma of spices, wheat, white pepper, lavender, yeast, light citrus, and a little coriander. Poured pale yellow in color with a small to medium-sized white head that diminished slowly. Hazy. Sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of yeast, wheat, spices, lavender, dust, pepper, and a hint of coriander. Light to medium body. Fizzy, tingly, lightly dry texture. Lively carbonation. Yeasty, lavender finish is medium dry.

Pours a lightly hazy golden with a medium creamy white head. Aroma of a bunch of spices, ginger, various other spices, coriander, wheat and lemon. Flavor of the same, very spicy but also refreshing.

Poured a golden color with a large, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus fruits, lavender, vanilla, toast, and coriander. Taste of citrus, grapes, coriander, light honey, toast, and a dry finish.
