Citrus, a little funk, some rubber, some awesomeness on the nose. The flavor follows suit. Very tasty and refreshing. A little overly carbonated, but it’s also damn delicious. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 12, 2009 Tap at Sacramento Brewing. Light golden color, thin white head. Spicy nose. Taste is predominantly spice...lavendar, corriander, and sage(?). A little malt and a little bitterness but mostly spice. Would be great with roast turkey breast. nimbleprop (844), SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 12, 2009 Scored a 750ml from Chevy Chase Wine in DC. Pours a hazy, translucent, orange with a frothy white head. Aroma is all spices, coriander, orange peel, white pepper, Belgian yeast. Flavor was over the top on the spice, you can get a touch of the wheat and some slight sweetness from the oats, but it’s almost all spice. Chalky finish. angrypirate06 (709), Texas, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 9, 2009 Bottle from SL. A big huge head and the body with hazy golden color. Strong lacing. Aroma of, gasp, ginger (some of the lavendar too), coriander. Flavor of ginger/lavendar, coriander, cinnamon, perfumey, chemical tastes (the yeast? maybe a theme for me with some of these Bruery beers), also some citrus. Mouthfeel moderate to light in body and highly carbonated. Bready yeasty malt/yeast with higher temps. Came off as a spice beer I wasn’t fond of way more than anything witbier-ish. Highly disappointed in this one. This brewery is sending me all over the place in terms of overall perception. I think it’s a personal / matchup thing, cuz others seem to have a killer high rating on this within style. scraff (1942), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 6, 2009 750ml – The Wine Source. Hazy gold, fluffy white head. Floral ginger-like aromas ride undercurrents of sweet peppery orange peel with a soft herbal foundation throughout. Dry citric-fruitiness and fresh florals balance well on a soft spicy peppered coriander backbone. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Very refreshing… maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA
