All I can really say is that this is quite a unique beer, not the sweeter style of a witbier i’d expect, but the big bold flavors make up for it. The aroma is what stands out, smells like that dam smelly bag that sit’s in the crapper at my aunts house with all the dried flowers in it, but in a beer. Big oat and citrus with a lavander aftertaste, kinda odd but actually after half the bottle, pretty good, off to look for more from these guys. imissmy64oz (8), Tempe, Arizona, USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 2, 2009 Spicy citrus pale cloudy yellow with moderate carbonation. Very airy on the palate, lots of carbonation brings the esters to life, lots of spice and floral stuff going on, keeps this very crisp and refreshing. Pours a gold with a tall white head. valpoaj (363), Valparaiso, Indiana, USA

Anyways, nice pop on the cork, and it pours a good hazy gold with a robust, highly textured white head. Pretty beer! Aroma is spicy and pleasantly so...lots of coriander and other perfumey spices (lavender?), combined with a healthy dose of toasted oat and wheat. First sip was confusing...the oat really has a healthy presence in this one, and at first I thought that might end up really bastardizing the style, but this one really grew on me...lots of orange peel, heavy levels of yeast, and this is one seriously toasted Wit. Apparently the west coasters aren’t into making Wits anywhere near to style, but this was a nice rendition and very refreshing. Palate was very drinkable..some body, but not too heavy...however, I wouldn’t consider this to be a wonderful ’lawnmower’ beer like many other Witbiers. I’d definitely give this one a spin again and am excited to try some of the other Bruery goods I picked up. Prosit! padrefan98 (788), (San Diego) Santee, California, USA

Pours a hazy golden color with a 4 finger head (even after the pour, the foam in the bottle eventually starts finding its way out!). I’ll forgive the over carbonation though since the beer itself is so very good.
Smells amazing. Lavender is delicately on the forefront with a wonderful orange peel-like sweetness. Very delicate and just a great smelling beer.
The taste, luckily, is right up there as well. Well spiced with a nice complement of wheat. Sweet orange. Wheat. Spicy kick at the end. Yeasty. Ever so slight sour twang at the end. Refreshing.
The mouthfeel is very lively, yet the oats seem to add a slight bit of richness to the mouth. Nice.
Drinkability is exceptional. Perfect for a summer day.
Highly recommended. One of the best beers I’ve had in a while.
