Pours dark reddish brown with a tan head. Aroma is wine and vinegar, lots of fruits especially cherry and green apple, strawberry, some dark fruits, musty/funky, wood, and some malt lending a sweetness that balances things out. Taste is super sour, vinegar and fruit acids, tart cherry, green apple, strawberry jam, dried plum, dried pineapple, vanilla cake, musty, oaky. Nice smooth carbonation. Puckering tartness that’s on the verge of being too sour for my taste, and makes it a little harder to enjoy the amazing flavors.

Bottle. Red brown with vague beige head. Apples, tart aroma of barnyard. Flavour is sour with grape and apple notes. Love this beer and would be writing more, but I’m closing ØlKonsortiet and rating on a whim.

Had a pint on tap. Delicious, quite tart, fruity, full of flavor, just a very well made sour.
