Hazy reddish brown, moderate sized head, attractive lace on bottle. Aroma is acidic - very much so with notes of cherry, wood, barnyard action. Medium to full body, high tartness - mmmm. Nice one.

The beer pours great with a solid amber, brownish hue to it, a mild head ring, and almost no lacing on the glass. The beer smells great with a solid tartness, barrel aged almost with a deep dark fruit scent (plum). The beer tastes great with deep dark fruity tasted but definitely a barrel aged. The mouthfeel is great with decent carbonation and dry, sour mouthfeel. Overall, a solid sour beer with agreta dark fruity notes.

Pours a hazy reddish brown color with a small fluffy brown head. Wow, this smells amazing. Lots of tart cherry, vinegar, dark fruits, light oak, lemon, and a light spiciness as well. Earthy, vinegary tartness up front on the taste, slight citrus acidity, dark cherries, oak, nice toasty malt undertones, and slightly grassy.

UPDATED: OCT 11, 2013 Bottle: thanks, Jeff! Deep, deep, deep ruby with little clarity; foam beige head that settles to a ring in a few moments. Aroma is mild vinegar, some acidic sour notes, fruit skin astringency with a faint underlying sweetness. Mild grape skins, lemon notes, leather hints, and faint woody notes. Perhaps a touch of faint vanilla too? Taste is tart, but plentiful oaky and woody. Some berry skins, dry oak, and light apple cider vinegar. Big vinous and grape, wine flavors throughout. Mild perfume and grass notes in the finish, with even heavier drying oak. Very nice Flemish red with good balance of dry and tart. Very light musty funk accompanies oak in the aftertaste.

Bottle, marked 2012 in grease pencil on the neck, from b3shine-- thanks Beau! I tried to share this with Grippitis but he didnít "like" it, Iím assuming because it made his vagina hurt. So I drank the whole thing, HAPPILY, on my own. Until the end, then I cried. Kind of a flattish pour, dark red-brown. Beautiful sour cherry fruit with lots of lactic tartness. Sourness is tempered by woody oak and slightly chewy malts. Lighter notes of vinegar, yoghurt, leather. Grippitis is a bitch princess for not loving this.
