Bottle from South Bay Drugs and Liquor. Bold and strong delivery of malt along with a presence of spicy yeast and alcohol. Beer is a dense color of mahogany that is not very visible through. Small sign of head forms but ends up as an o-ring shape. Extreme notes of sweetness and sugary malt with a twist of Belgian spiced yeast really makes this quadrupel an expieremental drink. One piece of advice though, maybe share a bottle of this with someone since its a heavy hitter and not easy to consume an entire bottle to yourself.

Bottle: thanks goldtwins! Pours deep copper/amber with a dense tan head. Nice soflty sweet dark fruits in the aroma- fig, date and mild toffee. Slick warming body. Overly ripe apple in the flavor with a touch of tartness which is subdued by sweet dark fruit, caramelized brown sugar and a mild bitterness. Eh, another sweet Quad.

Poured a hazy chestnut color with a beige head. Mild brown sugar and raisin aroma. Lightly sweet. The malty flavor was of caramel and esters. Yeasty sweet finish. Silky mouthfeel with a medium-full body. Nice warming sensation.

Dark brown pour, soft red hues towards the edges. Thin off-white head that falls quickly. Sweet up front, lots of caramel and fruit, spicy and rich, but with a lot of excess alcohol. This still needs to settle a lot, maybe you’re supposed to wait till all 12 come out to drink this one.

Thanks to Larry for sharing. Pours a slightly hazy borwnish to deep woody brown witha thinning beige head. Aroma is slight acetaldehyde and apple cider, sugary sweet, toffee, candied and dried fruits and moderate belgian yeast esters adn some slight plasticy phenols- earth and spice as well. Sweet yet earthy spicy balance with lots of mid-range caramel and toffee-like malts, but nothing too big or bold, a bit of sugary malasses and maple syrup come trhough and some more slight apple- and a rubbery phenolic plastic character as it warms. Ok Quad.

750ml from Bottle Trek. As with the last few Bruery beers I’ve had (at least those with relatively high ABV), the pour is distinctly uninspiring. An anonymous dark brown with basically no carbonation (a mild fart when the bottle opens, oops). Very heavily candied nose, and nutty as hell, with brown sugar everywhere and a strong yam note that this beer might have contracted from hob-nobbing too much with the Autumn Maple. Body is thin, of course, but the flavor is too blandly sweet and one dimensional, with none of the fruits and spices emerging at all to me. I’m very hopeful that the Bruery will get this right, as some of their beers are wonderful.

Thanks Jason for sharing. The pour is reddish copper with little carbonation, musters a light tan. The nose is sweet, smells like a dubbel, rusty, grainy, malty, yeasty, light alcohol. The flavor was sweet, rusty, malty, caramel, candy, fruity, sharp, biting fruit rind. Little carbonation. They need to fix their their bottling issues.

750 ml bottle shared by goldtwins. Pours a hazy golden brown with an off-white head. Very pleasant aroma of malt, caramel, dates, brown sugar, and a bit of alcohol. The flavor steps back just a bit from the aroma with caramel, dates and brown sugar all noted. Fairly smooth caramel silkiness at the finish. Some moderate warming from the alcohol towards the finish as well. Enjoyable.
