Not quite ready for release, but this is by far my favorite Bruery beer! Will age with the best of them, I plan on buying out my store’s allotment! Pours hazy brown with an off-white head. Aroma of plum, booze, clove, caramel and candied dark fruits. Taste is alcohol, brandy, candied fruits...just amazing, with some dark ripe plums. Great Stuff! Syrupy mouthfeel, light bubbles, slightly warming! Sent in a picture to be uploaded.

Draft. Rich ruby-amber beer with an off-white head. Light pear, dark fruit, yeast aroma. Yeast, malt, pear/green apple flavor that’s slightly sugary. Medium bodied. Malt, yeast, pear/green apple lingers with light alcohol and light sugars. Will get better.

Bottle:   Deep amber, rose hued, moderate to thin frothy off-white head, spotty lacing.   Brown sugar, maple syrup, nutmeg, cinnamon, slight dark pitted fruit and basement.   Much more dark pitted fruit like sweetness on the tongue.   Subtle spices, malty, candy sweet.   Noticing a good dose of licorice, but its not sharp.   This is good.   The 11% is well hidden.   Body and mouthfeel is moderate to full.   Not as bubbley as others, but thats just fine.   Sweet candyish malt heavy finish.   Lingering candied dark pitted fruits.   This one was simply tasty!   Thanks Tim for this treat!

In short: An overly fruity syrupy sweet beer of some kind. Ok in small servings.
How: Bottle 750ml. Consumed 6+ months after the beer release. Bottle from kegbear, thanks Craig.
The look: Cloudy redish-brown body topped by a beige ring of foam
In long: Nose is very fruity and sweet. Taste is kind of a mess. I would describe the dominant flavours as very sweet concentrate fruit juice with some toffee and alcohol. Pears, prunes and more. A sensation of those can of concentrate fruit juice before you add the three cans of water. Very sweet and syrupy. Alcohol apparent. The Bruery brews I’ve had so far were either excellent or so-so. This brewery is like a hard-core feminist top model, I find it both hot and cold.

Courtesy of fishingnet. Thanks Ben. It pours amber with a bit of haze and copper edges to go along with a thin tan head. The aroma is big and sticky with apple and pear sweetness, malt sweetness and some booze at the end. The taste is full on sweetness from pears and ripe red sugary slippery apples. By midway a layer of malt sweetness comes to the surface adding to the medley of sweet goodness. Nice drinking brew considering the big bold sweetness going on here.

Dark brown pour, soft red hues towards the edges. Thin off-white head that falls quickly. Sweet up front, lots of caramel and fruit, spicy and rich, but with a lot of excess alcohol. This still needs to settle a lot, maybe you’re supposed to wait till all 12 come out to drink this one.

Strong sweet aroma. Lots of candi sugar, yeast, booze, dark fruits. Pours dark amber with a nice creamy head. The flavor is pretty darn sweet with lots of carmelized sugars, dark fruits, alcohol, a mild tartness reminiscient of overly ripe fruit. Pretty warming IMO, and very full and heavy. Glad I got to try a 6 oz sample instead of a whole bottle.

(Rating #2498)
