Dec 7, 2008 Cask at brewery. Pours a beautiful copper red with creamy white head. Aroma is sweet licorice, carmel and spice. Taste is licorice up front followed by caramel and gingerbread. Really nice holiday treat that would age wonderfully.

Dec 6, 2008 Cask at brewery. Pours a very dark reddish brown with a creamy white head. Huge sweet spice aroma, cinnamon, anise and ginger, just pow, right in the face. Taste is much the same, huge sweet spiciness, perfect for the holidays.
