A lot of familiar pumpkin pie spices with some sweetness. I got a little cedar in there. Very different beer.

Boom! Thanks to the outstanding gent who kept pouring me this beer. Cheers! Nose is HUGE cinnamon aroma. Light roast and Mexican chocolate and a light woody aroma. Cinnamon toast crunch in chocolate milk. Pour is dark brown with a thin ring of khaki colored head. Tastes full of cinnamon, chocolate, light roast, some sweetness, cedar/oak. Very nice.

Dark brown coloured with a medium sized beige head.
Sweet and light roasted aroma of spices and dried fruits.
Sweet and light roasted flavour of dark chocolate and spices.
Spicy finish.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of cinnamon, wood, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, cinnamon, wood, and straw, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle, 75 cl. Clear reddish brown with a creamy beige head. Spicy, woody, almost vulgar aroma, whiff of licorice, lots of burned malts. Taste is sweet burned malty, almost creamy, superb mouthfeel, medium bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of thagr81_us. Pours an opaque black with a dense and lacing light brown head. Spicy, subtle cedar notes atop some sweet roast. Fairly rich body, sweet roast, subtle peppery cedar accents. No real bitterness. Very different. 131112

Bottle. Black with a tan head. Spicy aroma, peppery with clove, pumpkin, zesty wood, hint of roasted malt. Taste is chocolatey and spicy, pumpkin, nutty and peppery wood and cloves. Sweet and full bodied, nice

In bottle at Craig’s. Pours a very dark brown colour with a fair tan head. Aroma of cloves, ginger, pumpkin, chocolate and caramel. Similar flavours with mild carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel. Lovely.

Messy, somewhat oily and a peppery bite. Aroma and taste don't line up. Not bad, but not great.
