750 ml bottle from dcschiller- thanks, Dave! Pours a deep, dark brown with a finger of tan head that lasts for quite a while. Big spice in the aroma, with notes of nutmeg, soy, cinnamon, roasted pumpkin, brown sugar, molasses, and berries. Flavor has the same spice profile, along with roasted pumpkin, earth, soy, cola, and nuts. Faint fruit acidity. Something hard to place. When bsuedekum brought it to my attention, he was spot on: barbecue sauce. Very odd slate of flavors but I found myself liking it quite a bit. Medium-bodied, with a spicy, savory mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Unusual but definitely worth trying.

Bottle shared by Bankhead. Thanks! Pours a dark brown color with a thin head. Decent head retention. Aroma of big spicy notes including cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg, wood and pumpkin in the finish. The taste is spices, pumpkin, roast, milky note and a hoppy finish. Medium bodied.

Sample at Bruery Provisions. This beer is a brownish-black color with a medium foamy tan head that recedes slowly. Rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of pumpkin spices and malt. Medium body with a strong pumpkin character along with notes of toasted malt and wood. The finish is sweetly spiced with a pumpkin aftertaste. Above average overall.

750ml bottle thanks to Luckyhank. pours black with a big 4 finger tan frothy head - which settles down to a nice 1/4" >... light spice nose with cedar coming through and sweet chocolate. med to full body - soft throughout with nice warming spices, chocolate, coffee, cedar and light pumpkin. bright finish with cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin, chocolate and coffee notes. very enjoyable beer!

Pours a pretty orange color. Nice spicy aroma. Much sprightlier than its autumn maple cousin. Spice and wood notes intermingle well.

(on draught at the provisions store). Pours a dark brown color with orange hues and a thin, creamy tan head. Aroma is strong, earthy pumpkin and pumpkin spices. Also, some buttery pie crust as well. Taste is semi-sweet malts and light bitterness. Full bodied with a dry finish. A nice pumpkin ale!

Bottle thanks to PeteinSD. Pours black with brown head. Nose/taste of chocolate, roast black malt, pumpkin, lactose sugar, cedar, cinnamon, clove and autumn spices. Cedar adds a nice level of complexity to the palate. Medium body.

Bottle. Pours with a near black body and a large, thick brown head (tight bubbles, creamy texture). Aromas of brown sugar, nutmeg, molasses, spicy, cinnamon, cedar, earthy, and possibly a touch metallic. Flavors are roasty, a touch of acidic roast as well, earthy, nutty, spices, cedar. Overall quite roasty. Medium bitterness, lasting humidor impressions. Medium bodied, spicy, a bit dry. Spices are a bit bitter and a touch astringent (roast and spice). Medium to slightly higher carbonation.

Bottle. Very dark brown pour, with a tan head. Lots of chocolate and cedar, some roasted malt and pumpkin notes. Fairly sweet, with a nice silky milk stout mouthfeel. I liked it, if you like cedar aged stout this is pretty good.

Bottle. Aged on cedar? Wtf, is this CCB?! Pours a dark brown color with a tan head that coasters. Cedar hits the nose right away with subtle spice notes. Cedar, spice, roast, and slighy pumpkin. Lingering bitterness. Medium mouthfeel. Overall, not bad but tr cedar just overpowers this one. Not really what I expected.
