Enjoyed on tap as an addendum to the Darkside flight at Bruery Provisions in Orange, CA. Appearance is dark brown, rich dark tan head that laces to the glass. Aroma is milky, chocolatey, I’m getting a small amount of pumpkin smell, also a bit of the cedar. Taste is very smooth, filled with dark chocolate, a touch of hops, a bit of oak.  Extra point for this being 6.66% ABV!  Good good stuff, too bad I’m rating this along with great stuff!

On tap at The Bruery Tasting room. Some sour aroma and sour taste, with some pumpkin. Reddish brown, sugar to offset it. An OK pumpkin beer, with some flavour and OK drinkability. AVerage mouthfeel.

Capped 750 from Beverages 4 Less in Santee, CA. Pours brown/black with a 2 finger tan head. Aroma is nuclear pumpkin pie spice. Near full bodied. Flavor is very spicy, pie wise, and squash is present. Works well as beer. Nice.

Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours black with a thick tan head that subsides quickly, and a pumpkin and spice aroma. There is a slightly sour vegetable flavor with some chocolate and treacle. A nice combination.

750 ml bottle This is an interesting take on a sweet stout. The flavors of pumpkin, allspice and some roastiness make this a unique tasty beer.

Pour from the bottle revealed a dark beer with a solid tan head. Pronounced cedar aroma off the nose. Medium body. Roasted malt and some additional spices possibly cinnamon and clove. Pumpkin kind of faint in the background. Finish is on the drier side. Not too long of flavor retention. Not too bad.

Black, frothy beige head. Smells like sweet cinnamon and allspice. Flavor is not very stouty, for lack of a better word. Lots of sweet spice and a significant amount of lactic sourness. Maybe a it of coffee, as well. Thanks to grownfool for this one!

On tap at The Bruery. It pours a dark amber color with a medium sized head. It has a unique aroma to it. Sweetness with dark fruits and a cola quality to it. Taste is unique. Doesn’t have the usual flavor but a licorice and floral taste. Mild hoppiness to it.
