10th February 2012
Bottle shared with the Kernel crew. Opaque dark brown beer, tidy tan head. Fresh pumpkin nose. Crisp semi dry palate. Pumpkin, almost inevitable over spiced. Too much nutmeg. Minerals. The beer is saved from the morass of Pumpkin beers by the nice touch of cedar, The unsweet wood providing another dimension and relief from the spice. Semi dry crisp finish. Okay, but would not want a whole bottle.
