4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20Holy Christ this is sour! 25oz bottle. This one has been taunting me in my cellar to drink it, pours out a nice lighter golden yellow hue. Aromas are a smack in the face, in fact my wife could smell it from across the room, powerful lemon zest aromas, screaming acidity, a little funk. Palate is weak only because of how sour and acidic this one is. Fruit is up front then a ripping acid hits the mid and makes you feel like a hole is getting drilled in your stomach. It finishes long with a reverberating cascade of lemon warheads on the way down. I’m splitting my bottle between tonight and tomorrow, share this one for sure.

Bottle with Chris at Ray’s. Pours a hazy yellow with some white head. Nose of lemon, vinegar, oak, some funk. Very tart. Had this right after a Doesjel so it was pretty disappointing.

taste of wine, lemon peel, vinegar and funk. smell was sour, acidic and vineous.
super sour, almost got me to pucker with a funky barnyard finish.

Pours pale yellow with no head. The nose is lemons, vinegar, barnyard funk and a little medicinal. The taste is massive tart. no balance. The texture is crisp but has an unpleasant burn in the back of the throat from the amount of acid, the body is heavy and finish is long

Lemon citrus concentrate, highly attenuated, vinegar galore. Extremely sour, possibly the most sour commercial beer I've had, and I love it. Highly polarizing, to say the least. Makes a great addition to rhubarb cobbler.

Almost a perfect sour. Funky aroma, acidic flavor without being over bearing. Goes really really well in a B&T with KBS.

Bottle through recent trade. Pour has a yellow golden color and a ring of white foam on the glass. Aroma has sweet fruit, dry white grape, lemon, medium acidity, and some yeasty funk. Mouth feel is light and there is basically non existent carbonation. Flavor is quite sour and abrasive but it does not dry out and the lack of carbonation is killer. Hints of sweet fruit, grape skins, lemon rind, rough on the acidity, and a lingering burning finish.

750ml bottle from Alan. Pale hazy yellow with a white head. Huge amount of lemon vinegar, light funk, some other citrus - very hard to discern anything past the vinegar. Sour that puckers your entire mouth, moderate body, incredibly dry, mild carbonation. Could only drink so much of this before I had to give it to someone else, definitely not balanced but if you like this kind of pure sour then worth trying.

Pretty sure this is the most sour I’ve ever tasted. Pure lemon, with a ranch dressing-like funkiness. I am not a fan of the style, but if you’re going for a crisp, sour, acetic acid flavor, this is going to be a superlative ale.
