COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Snicklefritz is a citrusy, spiced, oaked Golden Strong Ale originally developed and homebrewed by Kyle Manns. It is spiced with cardomom, ginger, juniper berries and coriander, along with fresh lemon, orange, grapefruit and tangerine zests. After fermentation, the already complex concoction was aged on oak cubes to add one more layer of flavor. We’ve production brewed it at The Bruery.
Original batch was 9.2% ABV. The newest release (bottled as a Provisions Series beer) is 10% ABV.

Nose is fruit and a little earthy. Golden in color with a white head that lingers around. Mouthfeel is nice, lots of carbonation. Interesting taste - woody and a bit of hoppiness and a touch of sour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour out of 750 mL bottle is clear orange with white head, aroma brought notes of coriander, oak, some lemon and orange zests, hints of ginger and minty berry. Taste is coriander, some slight ginger, hints of zesty lemon and orange notes, slight floral notes, finishing fairly soapy. Not very good, but interesting and messy.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Fruity ester aroma with light yeast. Spice and summer fruit flavor with oak and light yeast. Medium bodied. Spice and oak lingers with summer fruit, yeast, and light malt.

orange pour with large whitish head. I get more of the oak than I do the citrus. mellow vanilla and oak aromatics with a touch of citrus.

Thanks bauermj. Pours soft golden amber with one finger of loose off white head. Nose is citrusy with lots of raw fruit and mandarin orange. Slightly peppery. Interesting. Smooth/clean flavor, mandarin orange here too. Very citrusy. Lightly spicy and sweet. Medium bodied.

Nice gold pour. White fluffy head that dissipates. Classic Belgian style golden flavor, with some hints of cedar. Good all around beer.

Served in a Bruery tulip during today’s NFL mini-tasting. Pours a moderately-hazy golden-peach color with a decent white head. Faint bit of lacing and a thin collar with a bit of a cap. The nose carries some light oak plus a bit of light citrus and spice. Flavor has a bit of spice and oak. Citrus is in the background. Spice and oak really come through in the body. Medium in feel. Pretty good and a nice concept.

Bottle, courtesy OldSock. Pour is hazy gold with a white head, some retention/lace. Aroma of green apple, soap, ginger, spice, light oak. Taste is sweet, green apple, vanilla, ginger, spices. Palate is slick, average carbonation, some warmth. I believe this was an infected bottle.
