Rueuze is our take on the traditional Belgian-style blend of lambics of different ages. †We carefully select a number of oak barrels from our warehouse that have been aging our sour blonde ale. this is one complex beer. †Notes of hay, barnyard funk, apricots, and even olives play wonderfully with the balanced acidity.

One year old 2013 bottle, pours clear golden with white fizz. Aroma of funk and a little lemony tartness. Nice light vinegar and lemony tart flavor, light Brett with a smooth Belgian golden ale malt, such a delicious beer.

Hazy golden orange pour with a thin white head. This beer was one of the closest beers I have ever had that tasted like a sweet tart. The powder sugar candy sweetness and back palate tartness worked well together with a decent finish.

"This is a beer that I wish i could give half points too...I like it a touch better than the GFAR, which i think is the single year of this 3 year blend (at least it tastes that way). Slightly more complexity in this one, green apple, olives, lemon, oak...yet ANOTHER really nice sour from Orange County. Drank a 750 myself and enjoyed every sip.

First off, this isnít a lambic. Itís an American sour ale. A blend of "sour blond ale(s)"? FFS. I donít give a shit if you blend your inoculated sours, just donít fucken call it lambic, dipass.
Pours a hazy orange with minimal head. Aromas of a pretty standard wheat beer brewed with acidified malt. I would guess that food grade lactic acid is an ingredient in this beer (donít fucken lie, Bruery. You know you added some at some point. The gentle tartness just doesnít seem to be a byproduct of pure lacto bacteria). But Iíd also venture to guess that this was inoculated with Brett, which produced the simple funk after a year or so in the barrel. Yippee. Good for you. You can follow a recipe.
To call this a lambic is to call Mike Tyson white. It just isnít the case. This is a blended American sour, inoculated with bacteria and brett, blended with a few different vintages. Itís mediocre at best. Way over priced. Good thing I got ths fucken bottle for free in a trade, as I would have been very pissed off if I had actually spent money on this sham of a beer. Iím calling for admins to recatogorized this as a sour ale because to call this a "lambic" is a fools errand. Fuck you, Bruery.
