3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
750ml bottle, aged two years: Pours a clean golden hue with a huge over carbonated head and good lace. The aroma has notes of wet pale grains, honey, floral yeast esters, light white wheat, grassy hops and just a touch of barnyard vapours. The taste is cereal, honey, grass and herbal twang with very little Brettanomyces character. I am shocked by this and shocked by the fair amount of alcohol still at the forefront after aging, would think it would have mellowed by now. The mouth feel is lively due to over carbonation but a grainy tannic dryness reduces enjoyment. Honestly a tad disappointed in this one.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Odeur de saison (levure). Mousse épaisse qui dure avec une bonne persistance. Goût léger d’alcool et de brett léger. Certaine lourdeur au niveau du corps.

The yeast and spice flavor work nicely here. It is a little sweeter than average in this style. This is a tasty, well-made Saision.

"more straight forward than what i;ve come to expect from the Bruery. All in all it was a nice hot weather brew. light, earthy, with some brett making it just a little on the dry funky side. "

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Another near perfect brew from this place. I love saisons, this one no exception, great grain blonde and additional sourness and barnyard hay, but very slight. Such a good sparkling brew. Perfect on a hot humid summer day!!!

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Keg- very mild to almost non-existent Brett characteristics. Nice rustic, slightly rough around the edges flavor profile. Probably true to traditional/historical saisons. Hop levels are perfect for the style, very present, but don't overwhelm the flavor if the beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Sugaya. Lemony, grapefruit nose, nice bretty funk is restrained, some yogurt there too. Bright gold, almost pastel, cloudy, with a fine head. More brett in the flavor, a bit earthy, grassy, leather and dust, and more lactic notes. Grapefruit zest still going. Crisp, high carbonation, somewhat bitter finish. Nice stuff. A but dirtier flavor than I hoped after the nose, but still good.
