Bottle purchased at Friendly Mini Mart. Pour is a nice hazy amber color with a heap of foam on top. The aroma is a very lush grassy farmhouse yeast scent. Very fresh smelling with a hint of complex fruit to it. Flavor is fresh and still rather fruity. This manages to balance the blend of the earthy farmhouse flavor with a good balance of bitterness and finishing off with a rather robust fig, banana and grape complexity. Quite enjoyable.

Hazy apricot hue. Lemon and cherry brett aroma. With a little pine, sharp and adhesive like, medicinal.

Sparkly, bitter flavor; lots of pine and greenish fruits, leafy and earthy. Long bitter finish; too spritzy sometimes but mostly refreshing and fine.

Orange amber pour with lots of carbonation and a beautiful white frothy head. Aroma is lemon, orange, grapefruit, clove, rye malt, yeasty biscuit dough, and only a light touch of funk. Flavor is dry and very citrusy. A distinct acidity presents itself through lemon and grapefruit with a light cake like yeast quality prevailing as well. Brett character is more noticeable in the flavor, but light overall. Flavor is very effervescent with a dry but clean finish. Excellent Saison.

Orange amber pour with some yeast sediment and a big, fluffy, white head. Aroma is strong with rye, lemon, orange, dough, clove, ginger, and a bit of bretty funk. Flavor holds lots of orange and lemon, along with more spice and yeast notes. Palate is nice; carbonation is evident, but doesn’t do more than gently massage the tongue. Body is full but not thick, quite drinkable overall. Quite a nice saison.

750 ml purchased at Greens on Buford Highway. Thank God this beer doesn’t have that ridiculous amount of carbonation the Orchard White had. I tried that one today as well and it was ridiculous. This beer has a nice translucent orange/copper color, with a thin head sitting on top. Not bad looking for a saison. A decent brett aroma. Not much of a rye aroma to me. When there is brett in a beer that is all I am able to smell. There is a slight sweet aroma, but really nothing more, if you ask me. Fairly pungent beer. Wow, flavor is not what I was expecting. A fairly sweet flavor. The brett is short lived and to tell you the truth muted in the flavor; I was hoping for more! There is a nice sweet malt almost sweet honey/yeast flavor. Nothing in the flavor really stands out to me. The brett becomes more noticeable towards the aftertaste, but again not enough for me.

cloudy copper under a medium sized off-white head. honey, corn flakes, sweet, aroma. a nice herbal flavor mingles with the thick sweetness of the honey and sweet grains. caramel makes an appearance. different for a saison. thicker.. bigger. i am not getting any brett but regardless, this is the best beer of the three i tasted. everything seems to be in align.

750 ml. Cloudy, deep golden body. Huge, frothy white head, mostly lasting. The aroma is sweet and funky with notes of spice — mustiness, clove, toasted bread, wood, orange, alcohol. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, moderately bitter and lightly acidic. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Medium to full body, velvety texture and lively carbonation. Sweet, almost sugary, with a slight vinegary taste that sits behind the lasting bitterness. Peppery alcohol, too. The brett is there, but not a big part of the beer. Too sweet and too much alcohol for a saison. Still, it gets points because it is an interesting beer and enjoyable.

Orange brown pour with little head but lots of bubbles in the glass. Funky brett aroma with minty herbs. Sweet and funky flavor. Bitter finish.
