4.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
This bottled brew from a beer bar poured a head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were very long lasting and left behind a softly carbonated transparent golden orange colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The mild aroma was floral and musty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering mild vinous hop aftertaste. The yummy flavor contained notes of mild citrus mildly vinous floral crisp and hops. Delicious and one I would certainly like to have again.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
(Bruery Terreux Saison Rue) Bottle 750 ml as The Bruery Saison Rue, bought from De Molen bottleshop a couple of years ago. Served into a teku, ABV 8.5%
Deep orange colour on the body, mostly clear, with good activity in it. Tall biut frothy off-white head, with average retention.
Aroma has light malts, old wood, light citrus, kind of medicinal alcohol, yeasty notes, light pepper.
Nice taste, mostly sweet I’d say, with malts, floral notes, apricot, wood, alcohol.
Medium thin body with good carbonation.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Moderate bread and cereal for the malt, light lemon for the hops, moderate dough and musty for the yeast, with notes of banana, white wine and vinegar in the background. Head is large, frothy, white with fair lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is murky orange/amber. Flavor starts slightly sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly to moderately acidic and bitter. Palate is on the fuller side of medium, creamy with a lively carbonation and a tart finish. This beer has all the Saison qualities you’d expect but there’s a subtle savory side as well. Top notch stuff.

Lasting white foamy head atop a clear copper coloured body. Nose of yeast, spice and lemongrass. Tasty lemony front with yeasty dry finish. Good stuff.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Picked this up because it was sour and was from california. Solid beer overall though i feel like rye and bertancomyces clash together.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from misterburd -- cheers! I waited on this one about six months to let it develop. Disappointing: the brett and rye don’t assert themselves much, and despite all of the complicated tasting notes this just tasted like kinda random, malty homebrew.

Tap room - Light grassy and sweet notes with a touch of pepper. Clear gold with a decent white head. Peppery, lemon and some yeasty notes. Bitter finish and OK.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
bomber bottled 4/11/14 . Aroma of spices and grains. Nice amber color with a small-bubbled head. Carbonation is tingly on the tongue. This beer was hoppier than anticipated due to its age. A stronger alcohol flavor and % than I’d desire. I was also hoping for some tartness.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hype exceeds the brew. Aroma is modest Brett with little rye. Relatively clear Amber for an unfiltered ale. $11.99 for 750 ml was too expensive.
