Pours an orange amber with a beige head. Nose is grainy and malty with a touch of spice and a hairspray. Grain and rye flavors dominate with fresh fruit, lemon, spice, and a grassy bitterness. The brettanomyces are rather muted. I’d like some tart notes but still this is really drinkable and enjoyable. Skinnyviking (4141), Copenhagen, Denmark

Yeasty fresh aroma. Some apple-ish notes, tart bretty character making it cider-like with mild leather as well. The flavor has some peppery phenolics along with subtle sweet fruity hints of pear. White pepper and other dry yeastiness comes through. Spicy/dry finish. Nice stuff!
