Draught. High creamy off-white lasting head. Hazy yellow body. Both aroma and flavor indicated a wheatbeer with its fruity coriander notes. Low carbonation. Long aftertaste.

Pours with a large head on top of a murky amber hue.
The aroma is of bread, funk - barnyard funk in particular, orange peels.
The flavor is very orangey, with some spices in the taste. This beer has a slight bitter alcohol finish.
The palate is dry with lively carbonation.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Praetorian (86) - Los Angeles, California, USA - OCT 15, 2008
Orange with a large off white head. The aroma is of orange peel, barnyard, and bread. The flavor is bitter and spicy with notes of oranges and bananas. The palate is syrupy. I’m not a fan... I guess its just not my style.

Bottle. Pours amber with a large, white, frothy head, mostly lasting with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (grain, hay, straw), average hops (flowers, perfume), average yeast (horse blanket, barnyard) with notes of spiced pears. Medium bodied, gritty texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 PilsnerPeter (3019) - Flushing, New York, USA - OCT 13, 2008
UPDATED: MAR 2, 2009 G.A.B.F. 2008: Cloudy yellow/golden with a creamy white head. Yeasty fresh aroma. Some apple-ish notes, tart bretty character making it cider-like with mild leather as well. The flavor has some peppery phenolics along with subtle sweet fruity hints of pear. White pepper and other dry yeastiness comes through. Spicy/dry finish. Nice stuff!

GABF 2008. A nonexistant nose on this one. This did however have a solidly filling wheat body typical of a saison with a nice yeast bite on the finish.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Beerlando (3342) - Orlando, Florida, USA - OCT 8, 2008
Opening with a loud pop, this pours a hazy, deep amber color with fine, champagne-like bubble streams. A massive, rocky, cream colored head displays excellent retention and leaves thick, clumpy splotches of lace all over the glass. This looks fantastic. The aroma is as complex as it is inviting, fruity notes of candied orange peel, strawberries, wildflowers, and dry, farmhouse brett showing over a bed of fine candy sugar and fresh rye malts. Flavors continue the theme. Candied citrus rinds, mixed berries, grains of paradise, and candy sugar are all present. The yeast profile is very dry and lightly tart, lending further complexity. Medium-full in the mouth, with a bone dry finish, the only major flaw here is the overly active carbonation. Aside from the extreme fizziness, this is a mighty fine, unique saison.

(750ml bottle) Pours a hazy orange body with a small off-white head. Aroma of citrus, clove, ginger, and pepper. Flavor of florals, pepper, coriander, and orange with a dry finish. The brett characteristics are not evident at this time.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Maria (9570) - Thisted, DENMARK - OCT 1, 2008
TFODRBSG08 Courtesy of Papsoe. The color is hazy-golden and the head is creamy. The aroma has sweetness and notes of fruit, malt and yeast. The flavour has sweetness and a light sourness, that is far from brett-extreme. It has notes of yeast, fruit and malt.
