Pours a golden yellow from the bottle, gushed over, with lots of bubbly white head and light lacing. Aroma of brett, lemon, grass, funkiness. Taste is similar, sour and funky, bubbly on the tongue. Pretty damn good.

Pours a clear deep gold with two fingers of foamy white head diminishing gradually to a thin skim and spotty lacing. Nose is subtle: light brett notes, pale malt, spicy rye, earthy, citrusy hops. Taste is complex, citrus and spice with a just a little brett and rye sourness. Carbonation remains high and fizzy, giving it a light mouthfeel. Civilised and balanced - but perhaps a touch too civilised. The nose, in particular, is a touch too restrained. The flavour builds and deepens, with a mild alcohol warming, but the nose remains mild, with few indications of what’s to come. The flavour is balanced, sure, but it’s a bit out of sync with the nose - I’d like a little more emphasis there.

2013-02-22 - tasting hosted by blankboy, with gregclow, jercraigs and mabel - 750ml bottle c/o blankboy. Slow gusher - bubbly and cloudy amber-orange with a huge fluffy lasting off-white head. Aroma of alcohol, Belgian spicy yeast - quite fruity, golden, some brett funk, not a lot; dry, nice. Taste follows - much more standard than the aroma, less funk, more fruit (I got some apple) - decent, but I wanted more funk after the aroma (7-). Lush and airy mouthfeel, really pleasant on the tongue - spice/astringency builds a bit in the finish, as does the alcohol dryness ... pretty solid beer.

Color cobrizo tupido con espuma blanca densa. Aromas afrutados de manzana y ciruerla verde además del centento. Cuerpo medio, inicio dulce y afrutado que acaba de forma seca y con un toque de alcohol moderado. Buena.

750ml Bottle pours a hazy orangey color with a bit of head. Caramel and medium sweetness along with the wild yeast flavor.

Refreshing citrusy aroma. The flavour is citrus, bread and a little spicy. I would have expected more rye flavour. Very balanced but maybe a little plain and boring.

Appearance: the beer is a very nice copper color, pours with a very large and dense off white head, appears to be clear Aroma: very strong citrus, lemon, sour, tart Taste: strong citrus, lemon, a certain bread flavor is in there, strong alcohol, some sourness, Palate: average carbonation, alcohol aftertaste, leaves mouth dry Overall: a good beer but too much alcohol taste for me, strong citrus notes throughout as well

Nice aroma, highlighting malt and yeast. It pours hazy and has a nice amber color with a rich frothy head. It has a very balanced flavor for a beer fermented with Brett yeast: medium sweetness with medium bitterness and not as sour as you might expect. Bitter aftertaste with sour notes that lingers in your palate. Overall, this is an excellent take on classic style.

Gold pour. Complex aroma with brett, rye, oak, funk. The taste adds more sweet fruit and is slightly less sour than I imagined. Still very crisp and clean. Like the spice from the rye.

Tasting at Matt’s
Hazy golden color with large head, highly carbonated. Strange aroma, fruity, soapy, a bit spicy ( sweet spices, coriander, anise). Soft mouthfeel; it has a nice fruity touch, strong spices, but also some soap, wood, vegetables.
Messy.

Pours a nice cloudy golden color with white fizzy head. Light fruits, yeast, and some funk on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes tart and dry.
