Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 23.03.15. A gusher. Clear golden. Foamy, dense and persistent off-white head and lacing. Quite refreshing aroma, with a hint of flowers, fresh pear and brett. Similarly fruity taste with more bitterness. Complex aftertaste. A bit fizzy.

Amazing saison, probably the best I’ve had. Poured into a bruery tulip it bubbled up with a big 3 finger head with a completely hazy golden straw color. smells of brettanomyces, rye, peppercorns and a certain sweet fruitiness I can’t put my finger on. The taste is very peppery, you get some funk from the Brett but it’s not overpowering, some dry malts, some cider like sweetness. It has a very carbonated, dry, texture to it. Perfectly befitting a saison. The bruery made an excellent beer here, definitely a must try for anyone. It’s complex enough for a seasoned beer drinker but not too overpowering for the average person

Very complex tasting beer a great summer time beer for BBQ and outdoor fun. A very solid B beer. I do not know the Bruery does it but another complex tasting beer.

Pours cloudy amber with a white head. Aroma is pretty brett forward with notes of fresh squeezed apples, sweeter oak, dry champagne, pear, goose berries and some grainy notes as well. The taste is very dry and woody with notes of funk, rye, pear, orange peel and weak apples. Also a slight heat to the taste here. Pretty good!

75cl bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a big, nice, white head. Aroma has looooots of brett, bread, wheat, ripe, sweat apples, slight alcohol. Very soft overall. Taste is very pleasant sweet, prominent rye, dry dry brettish notes, pear sweetness. Very soft, easy drinking and dry beer despite being slightly alcoholic. Medium high carb and velvety body. Positive surprise.

Nez puissant et fruité. Agrumes, abricot, puis vanille, caramel.
