COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
French for "without a paddle", Sans Pagaie is our take on a Belgian Kriek. We added an incredible amount of cherries (whole and pureed) to this sour blonde ale and then we decided to add more. The result is a well balanced fruited sour ale, perfect on it’s own, even better with a slice of chocolate cake. 5.8% ABV, Cellerable for up to 3 years.
Note: this is a different beer than the limited Bruery Sour Cherry Kriek

If you like tart. Welcome. Orange hue on a no head but not flat Kriek. Huge wonderful sour cherry flavor. If I had a sugar cube it'd be a sour patch kid. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottleshare thanks to DrewFace. Pours an orange amber color. White head. Aroma if tart sourness, just a hint of cherries. Taste is light, tart, sour, refreshing. Pretty darn drinkable.

Lightly hazy orange color, minimal white head. Big tart, funky aroma, some acidic notes, some fruity notes. Very sour, acidic. Some funky barnyardy notes as well, cherries come thru but mostly dominated by sour. Dry and tasty overall.

Crimson gold red. Nose is acidic cherry juice. Taste is super sour very acidic a touch of balsamic and cherry. No where close to a Belgian kriek. Still, not horrible

Pinkish apricot colors. Cloudy. Headless. Big fruit aromas. Clove phenols very sharp acidity light astringency. Salty. Baby wipes. Interesting. A bit too acidic for easy drinking or even aggressive sipping.

750 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy pink color with little ring of white head around the snifter. Aroma of tart cherry pie filling and some acidic tones. I enjoy the aroma.

Flavor is tart and lactic, good Lord, I’m gong to have heart burn after drinking this! Sour cherries, lightly funky oak up front with with a little bit of yeasty, bread in the center. The finish has a strong amount of pucker and tartness with a yogurt acidic notes. Also reminds me of cherry Sour Patch Kids from back in the day. Medium in body with a spritzer carbonation. More than likely you will love or hate this beer, I fall right in the middle, borderline too acidic, either way this is a sipper.

750ml bottle, not sure where I got it, split with my bride. Pours a clear, light, pinkish-amber color with a white head that fades pretty quickly. Aroma is fruity, cherry, earthy, oak. Medium on the palate with lively carbonation. Flavor is lightly sour, tart, oak, cherry pie, a little vinegar, lemon, with a stiff, tart finish. Very nice.

Bottle shared by Tommy. This was pretty good. Bright red pour with a thin white lace. Very sour nose and flavor with a bracing lactic acidity. Guessing this was a bit aged as the fruit had faded quite a bit. Sort of reminded me of the more sour bottles of lou pepe kriek and framboise that I have had. Almost too sour for me—at least these days, but I still like it a lot.

Poured from a bomber into a The Bruery snifter a orange red with minimal head. Aroma is tart cherry shizzzzz. A sour blonde with more flavor that one would ever expect. Bitter dry finish makes this crazy!. Well done.
