Bottle, shared at RBAG 2014 by Kevin. Hazy bright orange. Lovely lactic acidity and pithy bitter orange character. Sour and dry. Terrific!

Pours a hazy orange with a 1/2in white head. not much head retention. sour slight vinegar on the nose with lots of kumquat coming through nicely. Lots of kumquat with nice rye notes and a good sourness. not as sour as i thought it would be but still great. thin hits the tongue nicely really feel it on the sides and back of the tongue. Great beer. nice fruit and sourness. would love to try SITR Peaches.

Bottle @ "Er Klopt Iemand Op De Deur" Samson & Gert Bierproeving I. Thanks PriorL and Mathieu87. Dark amber colour, soft carbonation. Aroma of sour red fruit with caramel and light notes of vinegar. Also spicy nose (kumquat?) and orange peel. Nice addition to the base beer. Very good!

Bottle at first "Er klopt iemand op de deur" tasting aka EBT3. Thx to everyone for sharing today’s beers! APPEARANCE: clouded blond beer, small unstable off white head. NOSE: fruity, somewhat sour, weird. TASTE: kumquat taste probably? Never ate that though... Nice in general!

75 cl. bottle sampled @ "Er Klopt Iemand Op De Deur" Samson & Gert Bierproeving I. Thanks to PriorL & Mathieu87! Tasted side by side with Regular & Peaches version. Head only on sides off-white. Darker amber than others, almost ruby. Nose is surprisingly sweet, cola, cookie, toffee, cereal, caramel, wood, sweet spices with some bitter oak and faint funk, barnyard in the back. Oilier than others, soft to little carbonation. I have had kumquat only in liqueur & jam but I have heard of them as being very bitter so why is this so sweet? Nice but very odd beer. I liked this one least.

Head gone in secs, hazy amber-copper beer. Pure kumquat and sucade nose, very obvious, perfumed. perfumed-aromatic, bitterish and sour, in a well-balanced way. Long-lasting citrus flavours, quite complex, in-depth flavourprofile. Titillating MF, light to medium bodied, quite slick. Surprisingly better than the standard version. I want more of this combination!

Bottle share at RBAG. Cloudy golden pour light white foam. Aroma is sour tartness, funk, and some juicy fruit. Taste is sour up front, some citrus fruit towards the middle, with a mouthwatering citrus sour finish.

Hazy orange tinted amber color. Small tan head. Little lacing. Big sour citrus aroma. Taste is the same with a nice peppery tartness.

Sample at Kurtkeller 012: Bruery-tastic 01 on 05/16/2014. Hazy golden-amber color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of funky citrus, yeast and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of tangy kumquats and citrus, yeast and bready malt. The finish is dry and fruity with a lingering lemon and kumquats aftertaste. Pretty good all around.
