11/VII/14 - 75cl bottle @ Eerste "Er Klopt Iemand Op De Deur" Samson & Gert Bierproeving (aka Epic Beer Tasting III) - BB: n/a, 2013 vintage (2014-799) Thanks to PriorL & Mathieu87 for sharing the bottle!

Cloudy dark orange to beige beer, creamy white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of chlorine, bit yeasty, sourish, unripe peaches. MF: lots of carbon, medium to light body. Taste: bitter, peach skin, some tannins, brett notes. Aftertaste: little bitter, spicy touch, wood notes, sourish, lemon juice, fruity notes.

Bottle @ "Er Klopt Iemand Op De Deur" Samson & Gert Bierproeving I. Thanks PriorL & Mathieu87. Dark amber colour, soft carbonation. Sweet nose of peaches with notes of sour fruit and some vinegar. Sour with sweet notes. Complex beer. Very good.

Bottle at first "Er klopt iemand op de deur" tasting aka EBT3. Thx to everyone for sharing today’s beers! APPEARANCE: light clouded blond beer, small unstable white head. NOSE: peaches, nice! TASTE: little sour, peaches, rather balanced and fruity.

75 cl. bottle sampled @ "Er Klopt Iemand Op De Deur" Samson & Gert Bierproeving I. Thanks to PriorL & Mathieu87! Tasted side by side with Regular & Kumquats versions. Little off-white head. Hazy amber. Nice peach compote with mellow faint barnyard in the back, minor horseblanket, sweet spices, light lactic, light vinegar, vanilla. Nice juicy feel to it, soft carbonation. Easily my favourite of the 3.

Small cream head over hazy orange-amber beer. Sweetish nose, probably peach aroma, faintly perfumed. Sourish-fruity, wild fruit (rather than peach). Lactic acid, buttermilk in the finish and retronasal. Hightly attenuated, acidburn, dry-out effect, yet a certain slickness. Not half bad, but the kumquat really carries the day.

this one poured a hazy orange color with a white head. Aroma was of hay, lemons, peaches and grain. Falvor was similar, pretty mouth puckering, light rye, and peach flavor for sure. A solid bruery sour.

Bottle shared at DLD tasting. Pours a clearish orange with a white head. Aroma is pretty big on the peach and the taste is a slight puckering sourness. Really enjoyable.

On tap at DLD. Pretty good on the peaches. Cant remember much more but scores ok in my book.

Bottle... This beer rocks!… Pours murky and peach-colored with a small, creamy, white head. The bouquet is funky, acidic and super fruity - peaches, apricots and lemons. Full-bodied and creamy with airy carbonation. The flavor is über sour, fruity and bready. Finishes tart with a light, crusty bitterness. BIG TIME THANKS to richiesd for shooting this world class ale to the east coast for the south Florida crew to enjoy!

750 bottle thanks to Adam for finding a hoarder member that had this. Amber orange color with no head to speak of. Nose is nice, peach, apricot and a touch of vinegar. Flavor of peaches, tart tropical fruits, some oak, apricots, and lighter vinegar. Why does every Bruery sour beer display vinegar?? No really every sour beer from this brewery show me vinegar… I guess that is a characteristic of the style? This is best that I have sampled but…. I keep trying sours / American wild but sadly, I still really don’t find them enjoyable.
