COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This American Wild Rye Ale was brewed with a substantial portion of rye malt, and the spicy character of the grain asserts itself with clove and pepper in the aroma and flavor. Add in sour cherry notes from our special blend of micro-organisms and vanilla from the red wine barrels and you’ve got a mouthful!

2014 bottle. Amber/orange pour with a thin white head. Aroma is acidic and vinous with sweet notes of stone fruit. Flavor is acidic and sour upfront with wonderful complex vinous notes in the finish and just a touch of oak. I don’t get any spicy rye notes but as is its a very good sour.

It is very acidic, tart, a lot of fruitiness, it is a complex beer, I tried the 2014 edition. Can’t find any hints of Rye, it is spicy but very subtle, and I think it comes more from the yeast. It is a very special sour, next time I will age it more time.

Amber orange, very small head. Aroma has loads of sour notes, mainly peaches, slight hint of oranges. Extremely tart, loads of laccto, no hint of rye. Fun but a bit unbalanced for the style.

Beer Bloggers Conference - San Diego - Big huge sour beer. Tons of alcohol and sour flavors. Just a big sour cherry blend in my humble opinion.
