COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This American Wild Rye Ale was brewed with a substantial portion of rye malt, and the spicy character of the grain asserts itself with clove and pepper in the aroma and flavor. Bottle 750ml. Pours pale brown with low white head. No lacing. Aroma is reminescent of a gueuze. Horseblanket, barnyard. Taste is acidic, spicy. Bretts, lactic acid. Hot in the back of the tongue/palate. Overall: Very good.

UPDATED: FEB 24, 2014 Bottle (750 ml). Thanks to jp7161 for the 1st bottle / thanks to mathieuc for sharing a bottle of this! Slightly hazy bright golden/copper with a small off-white head that leave a thin ring of foam. Aroma of brett, acetic presence, fruits, wood and spices. Taste of fruity sourness, wood, acetic presence, spices and brettanomyces. Some citric notes too. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. A tad mouth puckering. Dry finish. Very good Sour. Balance is ok/good, especially for a Bruery sour. Tasty. Better than Kumquats version I think

Bottle at a recent bottle share... Poured deep, amberish-brown with little to no head. Tart aroma. This had a nice body and nice spiced quality. Probably of which the Rye affected. Barrel and oak tones with herbs and sweetness and nice, balanced sourness.

Bottle on my balcony wth John, Eddie, and Ryan. Pour is deep, hazy, copper with a small off-white head that quickly dissipated. Smell is oak, dark cherries, peaches, sour grain, tannin, and light vanilla. Really a lot going on in the nose. Taste is very sour with flavors of light rye, tart apricots, light vinegar, green apples, and funk with a lingering sour finish. Mouthfeel is somewhat sticky with light carbonation. Very complex sour with a lot going on in the nose and taste, just another great beer from The Bruery. Well done.

Apricot and sour cherry aromas, spicy notes. Nice, moderate body like a geuze. Tasty, tasty, tasty. Slight citrus and spiciness, sweet without being heavy?

750 ml bottle poured an amber color, aromas of light vanilla, light vinegar, light spice and a feint hint of tart cherry. Flavors are the same, glad I got to try this one at Markwise’s Bday bash.

Pours a clear amber with no head. Aroma of light bourbon, vanilla and vinegar. Taste follows with some citrus notes. Very tasty, different than your average sour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
