Tonight, Thursday the 6th, we’ll be releasing yet another small batch brewed on our pilot system. This week’s release, Stay at Home Dad, is a lightly smoked Berliner Weisse. The mastermind behind that sessionable and refreshing brew, Stefan, will be in our Tasting Room tonight from 6 PM to 8 PM to answer any and all questions you might have about all things brewing.

Dug this one, which comes as no surprise since they brew a favorite berliner. It’s moderate on the smoke, more on the back end and a little in the aroma. Not overpowering, and adds a dimension to the light lemony tartness of the beer

Slight smokey, apple cidery aroma... Clear pale yellow in color... Flavor is smoke, lemon tartness, sauvignon blanc, body is fairly watery but enjoyable nonetheless... Decent ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

March 22, 2014 - on tap at Bruery tasting room. Cloudy yellow pour with some head. Aroma was grainy, sour and mild smoke. Taste was consistent with aroma. Palate was a bit watery.

On tap @ The Bruery. Clear pale golden pour with a small white head. Smoked almonds, lemon juice, and grass aromas. A bit of wheat bread and flour. Lightly herbal an woody. Flavor is quite light with a mild popcorn and wheat cracker sweetness. Light smoke, some tart lemon and yogurt, and subtle herbs. Not bad.
