COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We brewed a stout (no, not Black Tuesday, this one is only 5% abv if you can believe it), but we then decided to throw it into oak barrels...and added our special blend of souring bacterias and yeasts. The result is a perfectly tart yet awesomely dark and roasty sour stout. Not a style you see too often - and in our opinion, not a style you see often enough.
Originally part of the Provisions series.

75 cl bottle, thanks Greg. Pours hazy dakr brown with a shortlived yet huge tan head. Aroma is breadish to light tarish dark roasted malt, citric and fruity to barnyard too. Dense citric and tart, makes me shiver. Barnyard, tart, fruity and citric. Smooth mixed citric and roasted dark malty finish.

Tasting at Papsø’s
Clear sour aroma. There is some mild roasted malt flavor, but overwhelmed by a very strong lemony acidity. The chocolate and roasted malt flavor is good, and well compounded by the acidity.
Very good.
