Draft at Whole Foods with John. Pours a cloudy yellow with thick off-white head and lace. Nose of wheat, pineapple, grapefruit, thai basil, funky yeast, spice, bread. Really refreshing and drinkable for 8%. Haven’t had this one in a while at it was tasting pretty fresh and delicious.

Pours golden color with a large head. Aroma of spices, citrus fruits, yeast and some toffee. Flavor of citrus fruits, toffee, spices and pale malts. Somewhat disappointing.

A golden amber ale with a thick super thick off white head. In aroma, sweet honey mal with light spiced notes, basil, a bit oxidized. In mouth, a sweet candy sugar with light curacao, basil, a bit old. Tasted Feb. 24 2013.

Got this random garbage from Aemjay! Aroma is pretty good, but not that good anyway. Kinda citrussy - that i like! The yeast profile is nice and spicy, but the sweetness is missing. Aroma has good sourness. Taste is kinda harsh - not strong, just harsh. Could almost imagine this was just a regular beer with some fresh fruit added (not good). Had thought this beer would be great, but it was not greek. Wasn’t too thick and cummy.. Give me a VB

A - pours very effervescent lightly hazy darker golden apricot color with super high stiff as egg whites head. Sticky lacing. S - nice mellow Belgian yeasts, subtle fruity esters, suggestion of apricot and banana. Very very quiet herbal notes. Grapefruit and astringent. M - medium light body. Smooth cream mf. Nice full palate with a long dry savory ending. T - Belgian yeasts and fruity esters up front. Over ripe fruit esters, banana orange lemon. Rolls to an interesting savory herbal ending. Bready malts, cloves, alfalfa, grapefruit ending. Very long ending. Mineral water/metallic astringent as well. O - quite good fruity to savory complex. 7-

Bottle, 75cl. An unclear, golden beer topped by a small, fluffy, off-white head. Some spiced notes in the else sugary and fruity aroma. Cinnamon, fruityness, white sugar and some pale malts in the flavor. Medium body, maybe a bit high on carbonation. Lasting finish. Overall, it’s too sweet and spiced, but it’s a fine beer anyway. 130202
