COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Summer seasonal, Trade Winds Tripel is a Belgian-style Golden Ale with a Southeast Asian twist. Instead of using candi sugar (typical for such a beer), we use rice in the mash to lighten the body and increase the gravity, and spice with Thai Basil. The result is an aromatic, digestible and complex beer made for a lazy summer evening. (ABV: 8%, IBU: 25, SRM: 5, Release: Summer, Format: 750 mL bottles)

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of spices, combined with notes of malt, pomerans, and peaches. The flavor is sweet and very fruity - especially peaches, combined with spices, leading to a dry fruity and wheaty finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Hazy and opaque greyish golden with a dense and lively shaving foam style off-white head leaving lots of lacework. Big lumps of black yeast - yuck! Spicy aroma, yeast, ginger and alcohol. Quite full-bodied, lots of fruit and a fresh spiciness, yeast and pheniols. Rather bitter finish. 120609

Cloudy gold-amber beer with a very frothy white head. Deliciously creamy head with sweetish herbal tones. The beer is sharper - citrus fruit along with more sweet herbs. The beer froths pleasantly in the mouth. The finish is dry, crisp and a little spicy. An original and cracking beer!

Blind tasting at Papsø’s
Cloudy golden color; medium head. Strange aroma, herbal (heather), fruity (peach), minty; surely not impressive. Medium body strength, but it reminds me too much some vegetabes soups (minestrone), it’s herbal and minty again. Not a beer for me.
