Bottle pours orange-gold with an eggshell head. Aroma shows lacto goodness with apricot, peach, lemon and a touch of funk. Flavor shows the same with additional notes of oak, vinegar, pomergranate, as well as the pinot making itself known. Overall body is moderate as well as the acidity. Damn good stuff.

Live Rate! Bottle shared by daknole -- thanks! Pours a hazy ginger-hair color with no discernable head. Smells and tastes predominantly of apricots, lemon juice, and white grapes. Juicy and flavorful.

Bruery pinotlambicus. 750ml picked up from the bruery provision
store... Pours are a medium hazy golden orange brown pour with a thin
bubbly head moving towards non-existent... Aroma of a fresh funk with
white wine notes to be the most non-descript. Nice funk overall with
well meshing grape characterstics... Flavors are sofly carbonated with
a white grapey feel. Really too bad that the carbonation is so light
but the flavor is quite nice. Hate too be so brash and short but it
really would have worked well together.

My special beer to partially celebrate the end of teaching a particular class for the 4th time. 1 of my 2 bottle allotment, really nice copper cloudy pour. Nose is relatively muted with a hint of sour, lightly acidic and vinous. Taste is tart vinous and pretty well balanced. Not my favorite bruery sour, but its tasty, wondering if age will help this one or hurt it.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A: The pour is a slightly hazed golden amber color with a finger or so worth of white head.
S: A nice lactic tartness to this one, but not super powerful. Definitely a strong grape presence to the beer with a soft, subtle oak character. The grapes provide a bit of a sweetness that I wasnít quite expecting.
T: Like the nose, there was more sweetness than I expected, especially when cold. Sort of simple in terms of the flavor with a mild to moderate acidity and not too much overtly oaky flavor. A slight cheese flavor at times, too.
M: The body is medium with a smooth, soft carbonation to it.
D: Why canít these guys just leave Cuvee Jeune as it was? I had pretty high expectations for this and it didnít quite meet them.

On draft at The Reserve Society Barrel Tasting event. Clear apple juice color with no head. Aroma was grape juice, white wine and sweet sugars with some funkiness. Taste was very wine like a chardonay with a nice sourness. Overall very tasty which made up for the lack of carbonation. I would save me bottle for a while before opening again.

Bottle. Little to no carbonation on this one, but the taste makes up for that. Lots of grape wine-like flavors with funk and barrel character. I would like to try this one aged a year.
