COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Early summer, this barrel aged wheat wine is coming out very nicely (12% ABV) White Oak is a blended beer-- 50% wheatwine aged in Bourbon barrels (we call it "White Oak Sap"), and 50% Mischief (our Golden Strong Ale). Vivid caramel, coconut and vanilla flavors blanketed in a crisp yet robust wheat ale, White Oak is an exercise of balance.

Bottle at Papsø. Hazy amber coloured with a medium sized white head. Sweet and fruity aroma of caramel, dried fruits and oak wiith notes of vanilla. Sweet and fruity flavour of caramel, dried fruits, oak and alcohol. Warming alcoholic finish.

Bottled. Golden coloured. Unclear. Dense off white head. Aroma of yeast, sweetness, wood, vanilla, coconut. flavour of intense coconut, sweetness, vanilla, sweetness, fruits, alcohol. Medium to full bodied. Sweetish and alcoholdense end. Quite pleasant, but very intense.
