4/7/15. 2013 bomber. Frothy big white head and a big carb bubble. Golden tan looked with some yeasty haze. Mild nose but wonderfully complex body. Boozy but notes of sour, oak, peat, iron.

One of the best beer I have drunk this year! The mix 50/50% is the perfection of the art of brewering!!!

Thank you gentlefolk! Sampled / shared 750 ml. bottle @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Hazy golden orange, little white head. Nose is sweet bourbon mixed with aspirin, rotting orange peel & sugar, lots of aspirin, bourbon layer behind it, weird. Very fizzy body that doesn’t really work esp. with its touch thicker body. Taste is rotting orange peel, rotting zest, bourbon, fizzy, oddly boozy, touch medicine, vitamins, washing powder, thick, bourbon vanilla in the back, lightly sour as well. Drank about 1/4th wasn’t too easy. More weird than enjoyable, didn’t get this beer at all. I asked if it is supposed to tastes like this, apparently yes. Usually The Bruery is decent but this one baffled me.

750 ml bottle courtesy of skullgeorge. Clear golden orange color with white head. Malty aroma, fruity, orange, wood, some funky notes. Sweet and bitter like aroma with some more alcohol. Medium oily body with soft to average carbonation.

Golden with rich white head. Sweet, bit fruity sour aroma. Sweet (too sweet for me) and rich fruity sour taste. Some bitterness later. Fruity aftertaste.

Surprisingly refreshing... After you get over the shock of your first few sips. It definitely grows on you. Flavour hits me as a little more wine than beer. The heat is a nice touch. The biggest detractor for this beer is the advertisement of vanilla & coconut, but all I get is Apple, wine & alcohol. It's by no means bad, just distinctly lacking balance.

3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured as a very clear yellow liquid with ample white head but slowly got the sediments in there. The carbonation is pretty high and keeps the head.
Leaves a tarty wine like taste. I personally don’t really like that.

Bottle to glass. Pours a hazy golden light brown color with an off white head. Aroma is light, faint hint of vanilla. Flavor is very big for such a light looking beer. Lots of vanilla, coconut, light bourbon. Light to medium in body with a lingering vanilla. Amazingly delicious and deceiving. Hides the alcohol well.
