3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy golden yellow pour, white head ... aroma of a sour ale with oak and vanilla with light bourbon and malt character .... taste of vanilla, sourness and oaky spicy bourbon .... dry oaky finish .... light fruityness and little abv burn in the taste .... can definitely taste the complexity of two different beers blended ... was good for one or two

Tap, 2013 vi Golden with one finger head. Lightly tart. Fairly hot, definitely warm as it goes down. Almost a butterscotch flavor, but not quite. Interesting and good.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours white, pale and hazy, nice foam. Aroma is soft-sweet, you can feel a lot of wheat, weizenbock intensity without residual sourness. Taste reveals loads of vanilla, put in the middle of soft and pillowy bourbon character. Maybe a bit too sweet, but I guess that is coming from wheat - and overall quite nicely balanced.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured a cloudy oranges color with aromas of bourbon, wet wood, light white wine, hay and horse blanket. Flavors are a wet wood with light bourbon and white wine some light funk and some light fruit esters. Solid overall not the worst bruery beer I’ve had.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Hazy golden color out of the bottle with a big, fluffy white head. Nice of white wine and subtle bourbon barrel. This is very lively on the tongue. Puffed wheat and some bubblegum notes, all with really nice bourbon barrel, oak, vanilla, tannins, and I’ll say coconut because its on the label. This is a very well balanced beer and dangerously easy to drink.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Almost clear and golden in colour, white head. Aroma is sweet, low caramel/malt with great coconut and vanilla. In taste coconut in front, then vanilla and some sweetness. Meidum bodied, dry finish. Alcohol perfectly hidden, the beer is very drinkable. Great beer and coconut is just perfect here.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle to glass. Pours a golden yellow with lots of white head. Aroma is sweet, hint of oak and fruitiness. Taste is light, dry, fruity again, easy drinking. This is 11.5%?? No way, do not get a hint of alcohol. I was just trying to clean out the fridge, but this is good... and retired?? too bad.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
From a 2013 750 mL bottle. Pours a fully cloudedgolden brown with an off-white head. Tart apple and bourbony aroma. Apple yeasty tart flavor, some bourbon and oak notes. A little watery overall at this point. Decent.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Visual: Hefty bottle, screams quality. Pours pale dirty brown with a massive super long lasting ultra creamy head, very sticky lacing, clusters upon clusters of fast streams. Feelin’ good about this one.
Nose: woody pressed apple juice, hints of white grape juice, a touch of citrus. (lvl-7)-pungency
Attack: pressed apple juice
Mid-palate: (lvl-5)-sweetness, (MAIN) red apple juice, toffee malt, oak
Finish: tingly fizzy-tang, vanilla, soft but compounding alcohol hit, light-med warmth, malty bittersweet finish.
Summary: Straight away reminds me of a Belgian blonde; fruity, effervescent, crisp, and alcoholic. Quite skilled to get a wheat ale to behave like this. Fantastic body and character, great drinkability and approachable flavour make this one an interesting brew. Their claim of coconut is more like apple to me. 11.5% ABV, you have been warned.
