3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewery. Mostly hazy, pinkish colored pour with a wispy head of off-white. Aromas of red grape, pomegranite seed, and some tart, funky brett. The grape quality has a nice, bright acidic component to it. Hints of barnyard and tannins. Light bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel. Grape and raspberry fruit sweetness up front on the palate, balanced nicely by a moderate level of acidity. The zin character is distinctive, developing a rich, peppery sweetness mid-palate. Finishes moderately dry, with a pleasing grape acidity left lingering on the palate along with some husky graininess.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy red that reminds me of ruby red grapefruit juice and no head other than a white ring. Aroma is a touch of oak and a good deal of sourness. Flavor is much lighter than expected. Easy to drink but all sour/tart and not much else. Some citrus, some wood, and that’s about it. Very dry and light on the palate.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap at the Bruery. Nice light red color, not what I expected thinking white zin like the wine. Another real nice dry and tart sour, very easy to drink though with a nice little pucker too it.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the Bruery. Pours with a beautiful hazed guava juice red colored body and a small, white head. Aroma is earthy with caramel, grapes and a bit of oak. Taste is champagne like with sour and grape notes with caramel, wood and citrus. Light bubbles, dry mouthfeel.
