on tap-pours a rich retaining light tan head that laces and amber color. Aroma is great grapefruit/citrus/pine hops (cascade, later lemon zest/Amarillo shows up), some sweetness. Taste is great grapefruit/citrus/pine hops (cascade, later lemon zest/Amarillo shows up), some sweetness, secondary medium malt. Finish is bitter pine/resiny. OK carbonation.

GABF 2007: Poured a hazy orange-copper color with an off-white head. Nice fresh sweaty and piney hop aroma. The flavor was a hop and malt mix. Very tasty. Fresh hop notes. Semi-sweet finish with a medium body.

This is a fantastic IPA. Huge amounts of Hallertau and simcoe hops in the aroma and the taste. Taste is sweet, carameled candied hops with a nice back bone. Very good DIPA.

On tap at Cambridge House. A bit disappointed that it only comes in the 10 oz, but it’s big enough to warrant the small size. A fantastic IIPA, loaded with some strong hop flavors of citrus and pine, with lots of bite, but balanced nicely with some subtly sweet malt notes. Big, robust, bombastic, everything an IIPA should be, but balanced enough to be easily drinkable.
