Pours amber with a tan rocky head. Smells of bitter citrus, some grass, hints of resin, some spice and doughy. Tastes citrussy and resiny with a caramel finish.

on tap-pours a rich retaining light tan head that laces and amber color. Aroma is great grapefruit/citrus/pine hops (cascade, later lemon zest/Amarillo shows up), some sweetness. Taste is great grapefruit/citrus/pine hops (cascade, later lemon zest/Amarillo shows up), some sweetness, secondary medium malt. Finish is bitter pine/resiny. OK carbonation.

GABF 2007: Poured a hazy orange-copper color with an off-white head. Nice fresh sweaty and piney hop aroma. The flavor was a hop and malt mix. Very tasty. Fresh hop notes. Semi-sweet finish with a medium body.

This is a fantastic IPA. Huge amounts of Hallertau and simcoe hops in the aroma and the taste. Taste is sweet, carameled candied hops with a nice back bone. Very good DIPA.

On tap at Cambridge House. A bit disappointed that it only comes in the 10 oz, but it’s big enough to warrant the small size. A fantastic IIPA, loaded with some strong hop flavors of citrus and pine, with lots of bite, but balanced nicely with some subtly sweet malt notes. Big, robust, bombastic, everything an IIPA should be, but balanced enough to be easily drinkable.

On Tap at the Cambridge house. 10 oz pour. Pours a deep amber- clear, light carbonation, and a sticky thight bubbled off white head and nice lace. Aroma is a punch in the face of citrus, and tropical fruit hops- tons of fruit juice, pine, orange peel, juicy fruit gum, and just all resiny. Mouth puckeringly hoppy and nice bitter finish with all the pine, triopical fruits, even some apricot and peach flavors with the sticky but out of the way malt profile. This was freakin awesome. It’s a shame the bartender didnt let me get a growler of this stuff, cuz I was all set to bring this to RBSG. Damnit. WTF?- I just look now at some other ratings, and it seems like a couple of people had growlers of this. Now Im pissed.

Sampled from Growler courtesy of zrrbrrt. Poured a medium and cloudy orange/amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of grapefruit, light pine, orange peels, light berries and pineapples. Tastes of graprefruit, melons, caramel, and also had a very light tart berry finish. Alcohol content well hidden. Interesting to find out this was an Organic beer (I usually find organic beers thin and watery - could it be that those brewers just suck).

Much thanks to Josh for picking up this very rare DIPA. Tasted from a growler. Pours a hazy amber with hints of golden and some red hues. Average off white creamy head that sustained and left lacing. Aroma of fresh hop pellets, tons of citrus, mostly orange, some pine, rock candy, malty sweet caramel malt. Great hop aroma! Flavor of juicy hops, orange, pine, grapefruit, very nice hop bitterness very fruity. Great hop taste yet enough caramel malt to balance just right!

Clear amber body with off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, pineapple, pine/grapefruit. Taste is moderately sweet, juicy pineapple, grapefruit. Hoppy aftertaste lingers very nicely. Watery medium-full body, some resin. Alcohol incredibly well hidden. The Simcoe was evident, and confirmed by the owner as one of the five hops used to make this beer. I’d like to put this side-by-side with Weyerbacher’s Double Simcoe IPA, and see how they compare.
