12 oz. pour at Bridge Tap House & Wine Bar. Aroma: Light to moderate rye; nice English malt nuttiness and a hint of citrus. Appearance: Mostly clear and still copper pour with a handsome tan cap. Flavor: Rye driven, but not rye dominated; nuttiness comes in a bit more mid-game, and finishes with a squeeze of bitter orange. Palate: Light body, creamy texture, very soft carbonation, lightly bitter finish. Overall: Excellent RPA; really a nice integrated feel to this beer; a shame I was only able to try one beer from this brewer on this trip.

On tap half pint at Gilly's Craft Beer & Fine Wine in Rockville, MD. Hazy amber with a creamy khaki head and excellent lacing. Aroma of toasted rye bread and a little citrus. Taste of rye spiciness, roasted rye bread, citrus and toffee. Medium body and medium/high carbonization. Tons of rye and malt in this one, but a respectable amount of citric hops come through, too. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour is a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is spicy rye with a nice grain. Flavor is all spicy rye with a minimal hoppy backbone. This is all about the rye with the hops thrown in there to spice things up a bit more. A solid tasting low alcohol beer.

Very bready. Lots of white lacing. Crusty. Bitter. Grapefruity hops. Strong pacific northwest feel to this.
