3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Shamrocks. Served a deep copper color with a small head and just bits of lacing. Aroma is mild with roasted malt, bit of grain and spice. Taste follows with a mild roasted malt, mix of caramel and bit of honey. Has a easy bitterness and dry finish. Fairly medium body, subtle crispness, smooth and nicely balanced. Good beer for the style.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tasted on tap at the brewery on Father’s Day/Bloomsday. It poured a nice clear golden amber colour with white foam, lasting with lace. Crisp grains with subtle caramel, fruit, toast. Light body, medium carbonation, surprisingly well-rounded bready mouthfeel, with a crisp lager finish. Smooth and refreshing, an excellent example of style. If your idea of bock up to this point is AmberBock or Shiner Bock, this’ll blow your mind.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On Tap at ITAP in Chesterfield. It poured an amber color with a small white head. The aroma was of sweet medium malt-caramel with some spice hops. The taste was sweet medium malt-honey/caramel and some secondary spice hops. It had a syrupy medium body. Well done and dead on for style.

Don’t like lagers. Dislike the sweet second half of the flavor. Week palate for a lager

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at the bridge. Pours golden with a thin white head. Not much on the nose. I’d be really concerned if there was. Dry crisp taste. Fairly thin mouthfeel. Nice beer to start your evening with.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a hazed orange-hued gold color with a tiny white ring and small rising carbonation bubbles. Aroma of straw, sweet malts, toasted sugar, cereal grains, and grass. Flavor of straw, crackers, sweet malts, cereal, grass, honey, and a hint of spice. Medium-bodied, with a malty, smooth mouthfeel and modest carbonation. Dry finish. Very solid heller bock.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pour clear golden brown with and off-white head. The aroma has mild toasty malt, some sweetness, light dough and an overall cleanness to it. Medium / full slick body that’s a bit sticky and has mild soft carbonation. The flavor stars with sweet doughy malt with a touch of toast and some syrup. There is also a lot of the lager smooth maltiness to it. The finish adds some spiciness and a touch of hops to dry it a touch, but it is still very much on the sweet malty side. This is good for the style, but I’m not a big bock guy.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at ITAP Soulard. Pint. Pour is cinnamon hued and clear. Not much of a head. The nose had a nice little hop effect to it and some spice. Nice. Flavors are very pleasant. Hops are fruity and work well here. Some cinnamon and nutmeg spices. The finish brought out more fruit. This was solid. Glad I got to try a pint.

Draught at Bridge. Orange body. Fruity aroma and taste. Really shines. Little carbonation in pour. Bit of grape in there as well. Very nice.
