3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft... RBSG 2014… Hazy golden pour with a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Fantastic retention. The bouquet presents subtle notes of peppery hops and pale malts. Medium-bodied with jazzy carbonation. The flavor leans just a tad toward the bitter side of balance, but is quite even-keel overall. Crisp, mildly bitter finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On draught at the brewery.
Pours a nice golden color with a small head and some lacing on the glass.
The aroma is earthy and leafy with some nice marmalade like fruitiness.
The flavor is mildly bitter with a low level of sweetness. It’s got plenty of leafy happiness and not a lot of malt character... what’s there is nice, crisp and lightly toasty.
This is a nice one for sure.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap@ brewery during RBSG 2014L Clean golden hue with solid small head. Mild citrus and grainy overtones with a dusty earthy English tone but really the hops even at the lesser dose makes the more akin to an APA. Smooth refreshing mouth feel. I liked this but really was hoping for a more classical session English bitter.
