COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Obviously for our Friends at The Amsterdam Tavern we had to come up with a killer futbol beer and what better way to do it than brew up a "Goal"den ale? Our Gold takes cues from Blonde Ale and even Kolsch style beers with its Pils Malt base, US Saaz Hoppiness, and Ale yeast and I think that the color is pretty darn Golden too. So the next time you are wishing for a nice crisp summer beer or kicked one to the net and need to rip your shirt and yell to the heavens, grab one of these.

On tap @ The Civil Life. Pour is a hazy dark golden pour with a white head. Heavy floral and grassy hop aromas. Bread, some toast, and a slight grain husk note. Flavor is a touch on the bitter side. Lots of grass and earth, some floral hops, and a bit of grain husk. Sweet toasted bread and a touch of baked apple. Sort of chalky.

Draft on tap at the brewery (St. Louis, MO). RBSG 2014 Friday Bus Tour. Pours a nice glowing orange hue, a bit hazy and darker in the middle with soapy offwhite head, decent filmy layer sticks around as film, laces ok. Aromas are a bit fruity, crisp and grainy with mellow earth, bread dough and touches of grass. Mellow yeastiness. Initial is lighter end of the fold, a bit grainy with touches of bread, straw, gentle yeastiness. Some florals, earth, kiss of lemon and citrus. The hop element is mellow but firm for the size, just a touch of bready girth in the middle. Backend is dry, earthy with pollen florals, grass and a bit of crisp bready malt. Sweeter and fruit elements never show and offer a cleaner, nicely hopped experience here. Clean and sound. Nice stuff.

Taster on tap at the brewery during RBSG. Mildly hazy golden orange color. Thin white head, leaves decent bits of lace. Light to medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp lighter carbonation. Easy drinking. Good bready wheat flavor, light spiciness. Some good toasty malt. Moderate bitter. Light sweet. Solid blond ale.

Pour is a clear gold with a large white head. Aroma has a definite dry almost pils like malt. Flavor is more of those dry malts with a little grassy hop in there. Very kolsch like and refreshing.

It poured a clear golden color with a small white head. The aroma was of pale malts, some straw and mild hops. The taste was of bready malts, grains, straw and a little sugar. Decent ale.
