3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pour is a clear gold with a large white head. Aroma has a definite dry almost pils like malt. Flavor is more of those dry malts with a little grassy hop in there. Very kolsch like and refreshing.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
It poured a clear golden color with a small white head. The aroma was of pale malts, some straw and mild hops. The taste was of bready malts, grains, straw and a little sugar. Decent ale.

Had this at their tap room in saint Louis Fall 2012. Everything I tasted was good to great. I'm not a fan of the style but this is good. A bit flowery. Not too carbonated. Nice.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap @ The Civil Life. Pours a golden appearance with an off white head. Quite floral/herbal poppy, sweet malty, light citrusy aroma. Sweet honey, light orange citrusy, lightly herbal hoppy flavor. Not hard to drink.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at The Civil Life. Pours a golden orange color with white head. Straw, grainy, honey flavors. Not usually a big fan of golden, but not too bad.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JAN 6, 2013 Tasted on tap at the brewpub, then liked it so much I took a growler home. It poured a clear golden color with weak white foam. The brewer’s description is perfectly accurate. Aromas and flavors of a well-crafted pils except with a mildly fruity ale yeast. Lightly flowery, resiny, peppery, with hints of vanilla, husky grains, freshly baked French bread. Like Kolsch but all around more robust. Very tasty.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
32 oz growler shared by JohnF. The pour is a hazed golden copper, with more or less no head. The aroma is pretty faint, maybe some muted caramel malt and cereal grains. The taste is cracker malt, the softly sweet caramel, along with a some light apple fruit sweetness, and finishing with some grass and general dirtiness. The palate is medium bodied, very low, close to still carbonation, and the earth and dirt finish. This one may have have suffered some from the growler. As is, just ok, thanks for sharing John.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Half pint at the brewery. Pours a clear gold (I mean, GOAL!d) color with a moderate white head that sticks. Aroma of very clean, crisp pale malts, straw, cracker, and mild hops. Flavor of crackery, bready malts, husky grains, straw, and sugar. Light-bodied, with medium, fairly soft carbonation and a clean mouthfeel. Perfect for soccer watching and/or hot weather. Amsterdam Tavern got a great in-house beer from TCL.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Another nice one from Civil Life here. Pours clear golden / blond with a white head. The aroma has light dough, some toast and spicy hops. Medium / light crisp body with a nice amount of sharp carbonation. The flavor starts out dry with a bit of cereal, spicy hops, light sulfur and grassiness. The finish dries out a lot and and really focuses on the spicy,k grassy and sulfur character. Well done refreshing summer beer.
